Headlights flickering on/off.

  • It might be a failing circuit breaker. Try swapping the circuit breaker with one from a different circuit to see if the problem continues. Before Polaris released the recall fix, I switched to LED bulbs and moved the outer headlights (with LED bulbs) to the fog-light circuit. LED bulbs draw less power than halogen or HIDs. HIDs use less power than halogens, but have an initial surge of power while the HIDs warm up, but then use less power than the stock halogen bulbs. Both LEDs and HIDs will reduce demands on the headlight circuits, but LEDs typically use less power. The early LED sets for the Slingshot required drilling out the bulb mounts, but newer LED sets should fit in the halogen bulb mounts. Good luck.
