• Not that we really need to be reminded but in times like these it becomes more apparent how precious our freedoms are and in particular the freedom to move about without restriction. Canceled trips, canceled plans, everything being on hold. Watching TV and thinking Gee, look, that’s when we used to be able to move about freely. And as of late almost feeling like you’re living in a movie.


    As a country I am sure we will come through this and be stronger and better for it. Perhaps one of the silver linings will be being reconnected with family, friends, charity, and an increased faith. Or shall I say a real awakening of what truly matters. A distillation of ones life.

    I am grateful for and I am sure many of you as well already have this understanding.


    I know for sure that when this blows over and I am windblown and free on the open road once again, I do believe that spirit will be refreshed, renewed and appreciated just a little bit more.

  • it should give you a feeling of what the Great Depression was like for our grandparents...and parents. And what they had to do in WWII. I hope the millennials learn some things about our form of government and that socialism isn’t the way to go.

  • My grandfather used to take his son my father on rag drives and when he would come home from the steel mill every once in a while with an old rubber tire he would soul the shoes of his kids and then the neighbors as well. Even though thank God I was not there I am very aware of the great depression when being able to have friends over and actually feed them was the ultimate luxury
