ECM tune, from Bob at OBD Diagnostics.

    Hello,

    I just had my ECM reflashed / tuned by Bob at OBD Diagnostics.

    What a difference. Noticeable power increase throughout the whole rpm range. Mainly noticeable low and midrange power increase. And much smoother, strong steady pull.

    I did not think you could get that much more power by just by fine tuning the ECM. - Super happy with the mod. Well worth the money. Even more fun to drive now.

    My motor is stock except CAI.

    My favorite and essential improvements to the Slingshot (most bang for the buck)

    1. Hawk High Performance Street Race Brake Pads (HB275R.620) - (They produce quite some brake dust but major braking power improvement)

    2. ECM tune by Bob at OBD Diagnostics. (Most driving fun improvement) http://mefiburn.com/slingshottune.asp

    And of course put thicker oil in the angle drive, don't over tighten the drive belt and put a little dielectric grease on the belt to keep the rear nice and quiet.

    Add two more items to your mods. Get the master cylinder brace from DDM to go along with the Hawk pads and also add the DDM short shifter

    What brand of wing do you have?

    Is it aluminum? What width? Do you know how tall the included mount bracket is?

    Did you fab brackets to secure to subframe?

    How do you like it? Any movement or whistles at speed?


    Sorry for all the questions but, I have been looking at many similar spoilers and don't want to order something I would be unhappy with.
