And if anybody needs to know how well they work, just ask me. I have the plus 5 tinted on mine.

I have had the +3 clear on mine for a year now and really like it. Bugs in our area are bad but this year has been a bit ridiculous. Process for keeping it clean has gone like this. Clean shield before leaving house. 5 miles down the road shield is already completely spattered with bugs. Live with it for another 50 miles more and then stop and clean again.
What I really like about the shield is it can be cleaned with regular paper towels and so far even the sand paper quality we get at our fuel stops has not scratched the screen. I have had other MC windscreens that would scratch just breathing on them and you could definitely not use ammonia based cleaners on them. You can use Windex on the F4 and it does not seem to care. My only complaint is it does have the distortion when looking through the curved outside edges but it seems that has been addressed on the newest models. Great product and great people to do business with.

I've found that after washing my +3 tinted, I buff it out with some Plexus polish and the next time I wash it the bug mash almost rinses off.

The +3 should be considered manditory for long trips IMHO as it makes them so much nicer!

I have the +5 and would never want to go back to the stock windshield.

It was on mine! Base Sling with no screen at all! When I brought my base home last year the only option was the factory blade add-on. I knew I wanted something better so had to wait for the aftermarket to catch up. At first running the Sling with no shield was fun but got old really quick.

Could you guys with the +3 & +5's, post some pics of your SS with them on?? Appreciate it!!!

Great pics everyone, thanks again!!
That tinted one looks awesome with the black!!!
I'd go clear I think, and just have to decide between +3 or +5 -
If it helps I am 6' 1" and can just look over the top of my +3 if I am sitting up perfectly straight and want to look over it. Most of the time I am a bit slouched and actually prefer to look through the shield as I do not wear a helmet and this works better for getting out of the wind - and bugs.
Went clear because I have to wear eye protection, if not wearing a helmet, and I guess one could go with clear lenses but because most of the time I have sunglasses on would not want a double tint situation.

I just got the +5 Tinted and love it. The tint is very light and is not an issue with my sunglasses. I had the +5 clear before and I prefer the tinted, plus it just looks better.
