We had to resort to adjusting my tie rods in a quarter turn to straighten out my aftermarket steering wheel as it would not come off with the puller. Now the sling will pop an error code after driving for a period of time. Any way to fix this dash light? I can't get steering wheel to come off to put the tie rods back to their original position. We barely moved them.

Your steering wheel sensor needs to be zeroed in. Take your Sling to a dealer, have them hook up their laptop and reset the steering wheel sensor. Maybe take five minutes for the fix.
-
ahh gotcha. Did they charge you for this?
-
When I had mine done there was no charge, I think it is dependent on your relationship with them.

I'd be concerned that the alignment is now off as well. Is there a laser alignment guy that does slingshots in your area?
-
He made just a slight adjustment from my understanding. I don't feel any difference in cornering or at high speeds and vehicle tracks straight? Any way to tell if its still aligned properly besides just watching the tires eat away faster? I don't know of any laser alignment places in my area. They have to put the sling on a lift to do the alignment I would imagine?

does not take a lift- my dealer does them, and doesn't have a lift. Don't know where you are- figure New England area. There is a place in Hooksett, NH., and another one in Foxborough, Mass.

Oh no way. I'm going to Hookset at 9am tomorrow morning to have them reset the ECU. The sling dealership has it there?
