How long you going to be there? We get to Deadwood on the 10th!
Sorry but I'll have moved on by then.
Der, My wife (whom you met at Maggie) grew up very close to LeClair, IA. Off I-80 and Mississippi river

Does that make her a corn cob, that's what Mike Wolfe calls himself
Don't tell her I said that!
SlingLow , you must have been at the top of your class.
You always have all the answers! 🤪😜😁
Any guesses where I am!
OK this thread has been sleeping long enough. It's time to Roll me Away.
I'll be taking a bead on the northern plains and rolling the power on.
I'll be tracking down the Stockport Posse and rolling all around.
My bags are packed and I'm pointed west now it's time to start the Quest!
.............. ROLL ME AWAY
Does that mean you want to join on the adventure, it’s only bout 4300 miles round trip from Rogers. We planning a terrific trip, heck maybe get to meet up with some of our friends in Colorado or California or Arizona. You know, meet in the middle.
I'm leaving in the morning on my own adventure but would really like to be able to join you. I already have a couple of outings planned for September but if something happens I'll keep you in mind and I appreciate the offer 😁
Thanks WingShot . I hope the sprocket is all I need but won’t know for sure till they get to work in it.
Someone on FB is planning a Eureka event. I’ll ask Patti to see if she can find out who it was and the dates. We are taking 4 Slings on our Epic Adventure. Leaving here Sep 18 and will be back 2-3 weeks later. Riding to Pikes Peak, Moab, Mt Rushmore. Y’all are welcome to come along.
Careful how loud you say that 😁
Happy Birthday! I'd tell you to have a great day but looks like you already have. 😁
TheWickedReaper this subject seems to be getting less traction than the slingshot itself!!! Bringing it back to the top of the dashboard in Hope's of getting some entries
Up in Tennessee visiting Frank the Tank getting some wonderful TN hospitality. Went on beautiful twisties outside of Knoxville and to the infamous Brushy Creek prison where they housed James Earl Ray
kinda scary place - didn’t stay long - they might decide to keep me
I was there last fall and those are some fun twisties. Had an audi behind me that thought he was going to keep up
That is correct. The roll hoops changed in 2017, to accommodate the Slingshade they came out with in 2017.
I believe you are correct.
I remember a few people who bough them early on with 15's and 16' that needed the new style hoops in order to mount the roof. In pack it was sold as a kit
Glad to know I've got a couple of functional memory cells
Nope.
I was of the understanding that anything older than 2017 needed the 17+ hoops to use that top but I've been wrong before
I had a nerve block performed on my left knee. I can finally walk without pain so I have a lot of cleaning and catching up in the office and garage.
Glad to hear your finally pain free but take it slow and build your way up,don't want to over do it and keep me posted on the top.
Not sure if I am going to install this top or not. It sets a lot lower when it's actually mounted.
Curious about the roll hoops, don't they need to be changed to the newer style to mount that top?
seems we tied our all time high today at 123 degrees
Soooo is it still a dry heat?
