Just as the subject states.... Who would like better under hood access? ..... Have an idea to look into this weekend. I could always use a little extra room and may have an easy way to allow the hood to swing more forward when you need to work on things....

    interest?

Damn straight.... logo's are not as easy as some would think. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Looks good. Wow, 3 damn's in one post... ooops sorry 4!

@NatomasSlingshot1 Moving our conversation back over here.

Hope they resolve your issue. Even if the loaner is a POS they gave you one. Last summer I was without mine for over a month with nothing to show for it.

With the Radio disconnected I'll see how long it takes before it fails again. Its possible the Radio is also an affect and not the cause. Does sound like whatever is tripping it might be the same and therefore an issue somewhere in the assembly process either on the assembly line floor or even back stream in a sub-components suppliers assembly line. Not all are affected but I do think Polaris might be aware that they have a problem but without an answer are just hopping it will go away.

Wonder it I can get a deal cut for an extension of my warranty based off this problem?

thats just it. This tripped code has not been attributed to any one cause at this time, that I'm aware of. As @NatomasSlingshot1 noted it seams to be attributed to a grounding issue somewhere ( get this ) in the vehicle wiring harness. Almost every function has some tie into the ECU so a tech has really no clear starting point when looking for the cause. I'm removing the Infotainment system (disconnecting) to see if it has any effect. It's one of the few harnesses that can be isolated easily (relatively speaking). Mine was acting up slightly (2 second cutout when streaming Bluetooth) for day and then I had the 065620 code appear and it stalled into limp mode pulling out into traffic.

Hi, my name is jookyone. Looking for a good community that has members that won't abandon me when I go out of town on business. I hear this site is the leader in Polaris Slingshot info. Looking forward to meeting each and every single one of you. Not even kidding, start sending me addresses. Donations get you bumped to the front of the line.

    Cheers :)

Thumbs up for the new Avatar.... !

yah, not really liking your lawn ornament, bet your grass grew like heck down there, sorry, had to 8)

Well the good news for the pumping company was that NOTHING spilled. Otherwise it would have been classified as a hazardous cleanup site. Double so because what you don't see just past the tank is a storm drain that flows straight into Lake Lanier...

Basically it would have shut him down. If there was a bright side I didn't pay for the pumping.

Had to go find the pictures....So here is what happened to the pumper truck that rolled down my back yard and almost killed me.
This is why I'm not a big fan of being around one of those and the line shock they can produce. Shocked the parking bake loose and down she came.

Thought I would open up w thread where we all can pontificate on the looming, arguably most important, Presidential Election in our lifetimes. I have made it clear on the other forum I would vote for Bernie Madoff before I would vote for Hillary as they both have similar credibility. It appears that Trump will likely be the Republican nominee. What does that say about our country? These 2 candidates have the highest "DISAPPROVAL" ratings in history. So that means when you pull the lever in November it no longer means who is the best candidate but who do you hate less. Don't know how to make it happen but the political election process is clearly broken and needs to be revamped from the bottom up!!

P.S. If you are a liberal you are wading into treacherous waters

please see my thread about Septic tank work... It's also how I feel about all candidates... This go around sucks...

@Ruptured Duck still waiting to see your top. I like alternatives. Just haven't found the one that catches my eye yet.

me too... Still getting a presentable version (if able to get to market version) that I can show. Third frame is getting fitted at the Canvas guy now. Unfortunately it's a favor project and he is dead in the middle of his busy pre-summer boating season. Everyone is trying to get their boats ready.

the top design I have been playing with does an amazing job of smoothing out the air flow into the cabin. The key is managing the air flow at about the very top of your helmet. This is where my stock screen falls short. Blocks the wind but still allows buffeting at the very top of the helmet. Sort of disappointed with Polaris. Would not take much development work to find the answer in a desent looking WS.

That will give new meaning to the age old question of where were you when the shit hit the man?

guys the last time I had a pumper truck at my house it almost killed me.... No shit!

I was standing with the guys pumping the tank when I heard a pitch change in the sound of the suction. Looked up to see the pump truck rolling down the hill straight for us. I had just enough time to warn the other guys as we dove out of the way of the rolling tanker. Ran over the access holes pass us and through a fence and down the second hill in my backyard... Yes the same freaking steep back yard where I slipped under the running lawnmore last year..... The tanker then proceeded to barrel roll three times before landing on its side. Lucky to be alive. Took two days and three trees to extract it from my back yard. Also lucky the tank didn't bust open.

I is a wooden deck - there was one port (inspection port I guess) that was marked and I was told that that is what they needed access to. But it is not the correct point of entry for the pump. - so I just pray it happens the next owner and not me.
Really won't be hard to get to but will waste a lot of wood and will have to do a lot of by hand digging

    Such is Life

ooops.... Man that is gonna suck. Well good news is that it's simple the strainer-screen. About 12 years ago they added the screen under a new code standard. It really is a bad design because the openings in the screen can clog rather quickly with simple small solids. Both tanks look good with the first with a lot of water and not much solid. Second tank is pretty clear so I'm cancelling the pump based off the clean health of the two tanks. I cleaned the main drain line into the tank similar to @Solow method and cleaned the screen. All is good relatively speaking. Going to HomeDepot and get material needed to build an acess manhole with lids. Will do landscaping around them to help hide the ports. This way in about a year I can have them pumped easiely and save some money. Digging the holes suck and mine was set rather deep. 20" at the outlet side and 30" at the inlet.
