Great work EjFord ! Looks like a great day and lots of smiles
Sitting here watching the end of the Tour Da France. Can you more the 50 miles on a bicycle at plus 30 mph
my son when he was 19 rode his bicycle from Vancouver to Halifax which is coast to coast for his ride for Parkinson's research. I offered to ride with him if he attached a trailer to tow me lol. His idea of a days ride use to be going for a 100 miles in a day just to train for it. I will just watch from the sidelines
If you search torque specs Tripod posted all the specs for the entire slingshot. I myself printed them all off and laminated them and keep them posted in my cabinet that holds all my maintenance supplies and records
I am back from the doctor and things are good. I still have a nose. That makes, I think 5 times just for the nose. Stiches out on Aug.1 anyone want to come out and play that weekend? Goats_Hogs
Gerald i believe your just to damn stubborn to let anything keep you down for long. Glad all went well and your ready to play.
As long as the weather looks good i think i will make a trip over to see you. Sound like fun
I don't have proof MiM but by the looks of that picture they are doing a better job of cleaning than you truly awesome that they help you do that. Enjoy the time with them while you can it doesn't take long for them to grow and move on to their own lives. Soon they will be wanting the keys to go for a ride to pick up their boy friends for a night out.
All the best my friend, hope you had a wonderful day
I'm sure Bill Martin would LOVE to have one zipped up all all snug around him. That way when he feels a snake down near his Foot, he knows that it will still be there when he stops.
Fixed it for you we all know how the big man Bill loves his slithering little friends
Here is a video I watched that I found to be well done on the subject, I don't know the laws on this but from what he says I tend to believe him
Display MoreThe McDonalds near us uses these.. They have 6 running. Even during peak busy time there is usually only 1 actual person taking orders. So that was 3 jobs gone right there. So 6 machines took over the job of 3 people.
This is a never, ever when for the american people. People who are "living" off of food service wages used to be teenagers trying to make a buck until college.
OK, since I ranted a little let me give a little background:
My first job out of college was (1985) $14000/yr. Not much so I took a second job at Noble Roman's and a third at Zales Jewelers to make up the difference I needed.
I worked hard and found a different first job making $26000/yr after about a year. So I did not need both second jobs. Get the picture.
OK, OK. now start the oh the poor people who cannot (many choose not) work so many hours, well I did it and most can. My story is not unique I am no great person, but I worked hard and scraped for what I had to get better in life. I have been very blessed, very!!!!!, but I earned a lot of that blessing.
I refuse to use the self serve tellers. I make it a point to let the workers know when they try to get you to use them that they are killing their jobs. The saddest thing is the people that seem to use them don't work and are on government assistance.
I can definitely relate SlingRider (Jim) when I purchased our farm a few yrs ago, the bank laughed at me wanting to buy land. They said I needed 50% cash down, I worked my regular job 10hr days Monday to Thursday and 8 on Friday then headed to another job Friday night 6pm -6 am then Saturday morning another job for 7-3 and back in for another 6-6 followed by Sunday 7-3 did this for a yr and paid cash for my farm and told the bank to FU on needing 50%. You get out what you put into life, work hard -play hard and enjoy
I'm in Kenosha, WI for the weekend...flirt with the girls behind the desk...they get a picture sitting in the Slingshot and I get to park under the canopy and put the cockpit cover on it and all is good and there is a camera on it 24/7...what I do most of the time when traveling...
I find that hard to believe, you flirt with the girls! Never happen, your to much of a gentleman to do that oh that's just too much I can't lie no more. Safe travels EJ until we meet again.
Meh..still a Corvette. Never been my taste...
Gimme a Shelby anyday..
Well when I come over in my new vet I guess just me and Hodge will take it out for a spin since its not your taste and just for your info I dont have the money for a vet but I can always dream. I really like the new look, could possibly even go without the sling for one of these but not to worry that wont happen.
Enjoying another beautiful evening in the park watching The Mudmen in another local town. Free bbq and concert. Nice breeze and great music sitting next to my wonderful wife.

I really don't think that's a picture from Canada, I don't see a case of beer anywhere unless it's in the cooler
I am by no means an expert or even play one on tv but I watched mniron adjust a few sets. Do the adjustments with the hood open and get the latches to unlatch as one when you push the lever. Also the front latches should latch first then the back ones. The way he set mine if you latch the rear first then fronts it will unlatch the rears. He messed with them for a few mins till he had them making one click when unlatched.
Thank you sir. Would they do that free-hand or tape it off? Either would be intimidating for me.
the right pinstriper could do that free hand with no problems. Look at their work and see what they are capable of and get it done. Very cool piece
Looks good! But looks like you have a leaf that has fallen on and stuck to your engine, may want to fix that
that leaf fell out of a tree in Indiana while I was visiting the master Painter 's house. A true one of a kind and no need to fix it
