I have been searching for directions for over 2 hours now. i have the 2021 r. This should be such an easy install but how do you get inside of the ride command so that you can bolt the thing down?

On a 2019, you remove the shiny top panels from each side of the dash, above the Ride Command. They pull straight up. That exposes two small hex screws that hold the face plate to the front of the Ride Command. Remove that face plate and the Ride Command will come right out.

Traveling west on I-10 this morning, about an hour out of Phoenix and witnessed a car on the east-bound side of the jersey wall doing a 180 and taking out a few other cars just as we were passing by. As if that wasn't enough, no more than three miles further down the road, traffic on my side nearly came to a stop as we approached three emergency vehicles on the side of the highway and half a dozen LEOs looking over the guard rail. I suspect they were looking for the body that was no longer attached to the severed human leg that was laying on the shoulder. Wow! Someone's weekend has gotten off to a really bad start... 😏

I could grow a third eye as a result of a whole lot of things I did a few years ago... lol

Hmmm... don't have anything around the house at the moment that would qualify as another "toy." However, the wife and I are heading to Phoenix in the morning to pick up our new Grand Caravan. Not really a toy, but it will share the bat cave with the Sling and our intent is to convert it into one of those camper vans that we can travel in and use like a small RV, so I'll be just as busy with modifications to that as I am with the Sling. Maybe I'll start a new thread in the member builds area... lol

I got a center bracket that had to be replaced by F4 for some bad mill work from NRG. What's with all the hardware that comes with the windshield. I didn't replace the big rubber plugs that have the nuts at the end. Why is the center hole so big and how do I fill the hole that you can see?

Sorry to hear you received a lemon of a bracket, but good on F4 for replacing it. I used the large, rubber plugs on the ends of the F4 because the rubber plugs that secured my stock Ripper windscreen were trashed, so that was a pleasant surprise. If you use the large, sleeved, plastic washer in the center hole, on the front side, with the rubber washer on the backside, between the F4 and the top of the bracket, that covers the bolt hole completely. Additionally, if you use the smaller plastic washers on the ends of the F4, you shouldn't have any hardware left over, except maybe a few stainless bolts. I opted to reuse the stock bolts instead because they're black and look nicer, but that's just me. The only thing I did differently from the install video was mount the center bracket opposite of what they showed, so the top of the bracket and the center hole in the F4 aligned perfectly. I guess that depends on the specific F4 you have. Hope this helps.

Well I did it again! Pulled out the center rubber appliqué underneath the handbrake and painted it a dark gray but instantly I didn’t like it. So went back to gloss black again. For all of you who look down at this yellowy black ugly piece of rubber it takes paint very well and I think makes a big difference when it’s painted. It pops out and in very easy.

I know I know I have been told to get the aftermarket boot and handle but I’m not a fan of that or the Slingshot one. Are there any other aftermarket brake handles out there?

I didn't realize that popped in and out so easily. The gloss black looks great. I've had my eye out for an aftermarket handle and/or leather boot, but the one on Slingmods is the only one I've seen.

I hear symptoms from the 2nd vaccine can be pretty bad. I had the 1st with no issues but hear the 2nd ain’t pleasant at all. You guys have issues after 2nd shot??

Twenty four hours after receiving the second shot (Moderna), I felt really tired and my whole body just ached. I left work early and went home, ate some good Korean food, went to bed early, and awoke the next morning feeling fine. It was another day or two before I felt 100%, but I was back to work the next day.
