Scare tactic. Make them think twice...
Thanks SlingLow now this is cheap and effective.I can do this for sure!
I bought a club. Cheap and effective https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000…0&linkCode=osi&th=1&psc=1
Thanks EricRedSL I have a quick release steering wheel that will be in my room with me.So the club won't help me unfortunately.I do agree,it is cheap and effective.
Display MoreI have these

and one of these....I thread it over the sway bar and through the front wheel....

Thanks Bigdog like all the suggestions. The club won't do me no good since I have a quick release wheel that will be in my room with me.But I had no idea Polaris had that security hand held control. Now I like that.....
I really don't think they're going to allow any overnight parking under the entrance cover in Maggie Valley. they got upset when i used it just to load up one year while it was raining outside. Too many trailers and slingshots going in and out all week long to block that spot while people are trying to check in or out. Good luck though
Makes since.Yeah I can see if there was not a Sling event or any event for that matter going on in town they would let you park at the front door.I will continue on with the anti theft products for safe measure. Thanks for help again on the locking lugs.
Now that's definitely cheaper and less crap to carry with you on trips.I will try that and see if it works for me.Now I just have to beat you EjFord to the hotel in Maggie to get that canopy parking....LOL
Awesome!! Thank you so much Funinthesun These are what I was looking for.You just can't beat this place for info..Hope one day I can contribute what I have learned over the years with these things.
Rather than asking a question that has been beat to death on here over and over.I did this search on locking lug nuts and this is the only thread I found. As you can see it's not very informative like any other thread or post I have researched on here.
With that said, let's try this question again.Has anyone found or has locking lug nuts for the stock SLR rims 17 to newer??
The reason I ask is,I am planning on several overnight trips this summer and I am concerned about theft. My security items are as follows, quick release steering wheel, gear shiftier to park brake bar lock and this....Which the thief could just take the tire off that I put this wheel lock on.So now I need locking lugs to complete this security. Thanks for your help and info in advance......
Tried like heck to get off of work and join you Slingers this week.Maybe next time, just wanted to let y'all know about Smokey Mountain Indian if y'all did not already know about them.Awesome staff,my friend Michael Murry works there and is a Slinger himself. They have a lot of Sling gear and a few accessories.Have fun,be safe and I am so jealous.Address in this link....https://smokymountainsteelhorses.com/
You have a bunch of Slings in the upstate around Clemson, Anderson and Greenville. i was even up there for a ride out of the Greenville dealer a couple of years ago and there were 12 or 14 of us on that ride.
Yes sir FunCycle There are a few around here that I see on the Slingshots Of The Carolina page on FB.But none are active in a group setting.Everyone kinda does there own thing.Hopefully when all this virus crap gets out of the way,we can get together as a group.
Thank you so much for the reply SlingLow,glad to hear he is doing well.Hate I am late to the Slinging game and missed the opportunity to have met or rode with him. From what I can tell,he had the upstate of S.C. up and going with an active Slinging group.Wish it was still that way....Thanks again for your time and reply.
Uncle's Sam's canoe club
Ahhhh...Thank you FunCycle for the reply and answer.Looking forward to meeting him after his deployment.
123hotdog I would encourage you to let us all know if you plan that trip and I bet others would figure out how to join you along the way, and other semi-locals like myself might visit SoCal (the state and the person) at the same time. It's a great way to meet the people you almost know!
I joined such a group when KayTwo planned a trip from Fountain Inn, NC to Sundre, Alberta, Canada for Slingfest in 2018. He picked up riders in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and I met them in Montana. We had an awesome trip while I was with them (it was probably OK without me), and lifelong friendships were formed.
SlingLow ,sorry for butting in...But what happened to KayTwo?? I am in the upstate of S.C. and have heard a lot about him.Just curious if he sold his Sling or is it health related issue that he disappeared??
SC Slinger almost always ready to ride just send me a text or call me at
7066336179 and buying my lunch not necessary always glad to meet other Slingshot Riders!

Ga Batcycle would love to see your Sling in person.Maybe next time I ride the Gaunlet you can join me.Hell,I'll even throw in lunch to be able to see it and ride with ya.
SC Slinger , Nice looking Slingshot. Maybe we can get together in the near future for a day of riding. 😎
Thanks SlingSC !! Yes sir, looking forward to it.I try and ride every weekend if not every other weekend. So let me know when you can go and I am pretty sure I will be riding.
Hey SC Slinger I haven’t seen many post from you lately. Are you still renting or did you find that perfect Slingshot to purchase?
SlingSC I finally found the one in March of this year.2019 SLR Red Pearl.Got a great deal I could not refuse.I have been lurking and learning, lot's of valuable information to go through on here. Thanks for asking.
Finally got to ride with Slopoke and my buddy Dalton running the Gauntlet.....
Happy Birthday!! Enjoy the ride.
I need to move to the upstate for the summer!
