Security Question

  • First sorry if this a start of an old issue, but what are options to avoid having your slingshot stolen while parked either in your driveway or at any location where you have to leave it parked? I saw on another forum what looked like a bolt you attach to the rear tire and then a cheaper option of using a tire booth. Thanks from Donna.

  • This thread has some good info about different ways to secure your Sling, and might help you decide what's best for you:

Who uses an alarm on their slingshot.

Those who will give up essential liberty to secure a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety

  • Kill switch may not be enough of a deterrent. They can still reach in, disable parking brake, take it out of gear and push it to some inconspicuous place or onto a trailer. Wrapping a chain or cable (with lock) around rear tire spoke and shock should keep the less determined thieves away.
