Chefjohn did! John and I had a blast with some riders from CT that were heading to Newport, RI for the day. We met up with them at Fort Adams and had such a wonderful day for a ride. Ate at a local seafood market/restaurant for lunch, did the beach and 10 mile drive. Hated for it to end, but the CT people had a long ride back. Wonderful new friends and look for more pictures and videos on the Facebook page - Northeast Slingshots. Greg, had some nice aerial views at the beach and there is a cool shot of Phil's sling with lights on there way home by JJFriggs (I think that is what he goes by).

Have you tried places like Vista Print and Shutterfly for pricing? We would probably get one again. The trade school sounds like a good suggestion as well. Thanks again for taking on this wonderful project. Don't want to overprice. Book idea is a great one!

Just arrived home from FL last night and catching up. John and I could not do today. Do you have another Sat. available? We are in Bristol so not far from Newport. Weather not good for the Slingshot right now. Welcome to RI!

Does anyone know the answer to this query?

Slingshot registered in RI, does not require Motorcycle endorsement, but follow rules of Motorcycle laws and registered as a Motorcycle/Auto-cycle. If you were to travel to other States-MA, CT, NH, ME, VT or others would a RI owner without the Motorcycle endorsement be allowed to ride in those States. Or would you have to know the laws of those states to enter and exit? Realizing helmet law must be followed in the states, but what about the driver endorsement issue. Have always wondered about this since we purchased ours and I don't have the Motorcycle endorsement. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but we live close to MA and you need to have a license, so I have always (when I can drive it) stayed in RI and was wondering if I could cross the border into MA. Thanks!

Oh, this is going to be an interesting visit for all it seems. Note, RI only driver can ride without a helmet, but in MA both need to have one. So bring your own helmet to be safe if renting from MOM's since that is in MA. John has noticed that the blue sling goes much faster in the colder weather than the warmer. BlackDeath I think that all owners feel theirs is faster than the others colors. Just look at all the talk about the red being the fastest. It really would come down to drivers ability and what mods have been made. John loves to do I Racing on line and has a group that races every Friday. Any time we are out and he sees a sport car he wants to race with them. I on the other hand don't! Presently he uses back roads, but would like to take it to a race track and run it to see how far he could push it, but haven't found a track around here that will allow it yet. Does anyone know of a place in the NE area that would? Again, this is going to be an interesting gathering of Slingshot owners. Hope to meet you all one day! Be safe and enjoy! PS: It would be nice to get some pictures of the gathering as well. By the way, here is the info for contacting Chris Colarusso at MOMS South-508-543-1734. If he can't handle, he will make sure you are taken care of by someone else. Again, the place is a bikers dream to visit. :saint:<3

MOM's in Foxboro, MA has a better rental rate! Ask for Chris and the tour of the showroom, store and warehouse is a treat in itself for bikers. Seems like this will be a good guy gathering.

What dates? I will be in FL 3/20-24; John will be around though. RIGuy is from Portsmouth, but I have't seen anything from him in a long time. We have seen a few in the area, but haven't been able to meet up with anyone yet. Hoping everyone gets to meet up. Safe travels. Does anyone gollf? I am the Club Administrator at Montaup Country Club in Portsmouth. I will be on vacation the week in FL. The club is semi-private, so public is welcome and this is off season, so rates are better. Check the site at http://www.montaupcc.com if interested.

Belated wishes for 2017 from John and Donna in Bristol, RI. Haven't been on much lately and need to do a lot of catching up when I have time. Working two jobs at my age, isn't like it use to be. Anyway, miss all the helpful guidance given so will try to be more active in 2017. We had a quite Christmas and New Year. Loved the calendar that we waited until Christmas Eve to open. Great job! Was surprised to see we made it in the end. Thanks! Bought a new trailer to store the Sling in for the winter months here in New England. If John gets out of work early he will take it out and take a spin around town. He so loves his Sling and it gives me joy to see him enjoying it. Hopefully, our winter will be mild so I can get a ride now and then. All ready thinking of mods for next year. Finally received our recall notice, waiting till Spring to take to MOM's and praying nothing will happen to it until the problems are resolved. Now we need to get a vehicle that can tow the trailer so we can travel if we ever have time. Would love to meet some of the great members on this forum at an event someday. ENJOY!

This is how it was posted earlier in case anyone missed it like we did.

Will be sending ours to the email address for consideration.
Hope we make it! John will be emailing the oe posted on this topic for consideration. Great idea! Thanks for the hard work involved in getting this put together. By the way does it matter if Cap vs. Small letters? The original was written out with Caps for the O;S and C. Saw a later post with all small, just wondering which would make it to the email account so that everyone's will be received for consideration. Thanks again!

Thanks for all you have done for this forum. Exceptional information for all and a great support to everyone. Always, Donna

We used Nationwide for home, auto and boat. For the Slingshot we paid $450.00 +/- for the year, which I think fell under recreational vehicle. Sorry for the delay in response, but I took on a Part Time job and now working Full time and Part Time I have barely any time for anything else. John though is enjoying the Slingshot! Hope to meet up some day and welcome to the forum. Always, Donna
