LED replacement tubes for the Play Room

I received the single pin 8 ft. LED replacement tubes today. Amazon $299 for 20 LED Lamps 50 Watt Color 5000-5500K I will be replacing the eight 8 ft. Flourscent tubes in my Play Room/ Garage/Shop. It looks pretty easy to do and use the 8 ft. fixtures that are already installed. The only thing that you have to do is remove the ballast from the circuit in the fixture and have the neutral wire on one end of the fixture and the hot on the other end of the fixture. "FOR YOU NON ELECTRICIAN'S TURN THE BREAKER OFF AT THE BREAKER PANEL FIRST" We will find out how good then are and I will be using 16 of these and will have 4 spares for later. I just finish the install of 4 of the lights, you are right BryanL they are bright. I will try to finish the other 4 tomorrow, If I can still move.

I have two more to change over and the connection is right over the 35 Ford. I will have to wait a few days until my back stops hurting to get that one. I came out to the play room last night and they are way brighter than the flourscent lights.

These suckers do get hot. I just adjusted the lighting area corner to corner instead of straight down. These suckers are bright, let us see how long that they last. I still have 2 more to hook up, it just might take a couple of days. I can not move without hurting. Install April 26, 2020
