Recent article on CNET.com - author tested a Porsche Taycan on a trip from LA to SF... electric fuel cost 33% MORE than driving an SUV getting 23 mph. Looks like a little Ford Fiesta getting 35+ mpg would cost about half as much to drive -- and you wouldn't pony up $170K to get behind the wheel, either.
