Every motorcycle manufacturer recommends a daily preride vehicle inspection for loose nuts and bolts and anything else unusual looking. I’ve lost several bolts since I bought mine.
If you look on the counter of any tire store they have a giant jug filled with screws, nails bolts and other things tires picked up that was laying on the road. Each of these things has fallen off a vehicle of some kind.
Any new unusual rattle probably indicates a loose or missing fastener somewhere.
For this reason I’m surprised every manufacturer doesn’t apply thread lock on everything while it’s on the assembly line. But then again when they charge $5-10 a bolt....maybe not...
