Will tracks allow me to participate still with these mods? I seen where some places only allow 4 wheeled vehicles and was wondering where I stand. Thank you all
Will I be able to track my Slingshot in FL?

We had a track day back in October 2015 at The F.I.R.M. in Starke Fl. They had no problem with 3 wheels. We did have to have jeans or long pants on, closed toe shoes, arm restraints and a full face SA2005 or newer helmet.

FIRM runs us as cars
Most other tracks run us as motorcyclesI guess it would be up to the track but I would think if you are running 4 wheels they may put you in another class.
If you are anywhere near firm take a ride over and see the track manager . -
Nope. Its going to be too fast and you are going to embarrass a lot of regulars that have a lot of money in their cars. Ha. JK
Its almost always up to the group running the event. Usually the track can care less, but you need the blessing of the organization running whatever event you want to attend. The sticky part is usually with the groups insurance. Many won't let you run because their insurance doesn't have motorcycles listed in the policy. There is also the issue of what group/class they would let you run in. Some are cool with just throwing you in a class and others don't want to mess with it.
At the end of the day, you need to get with the organization and see what they say. It worked best for me to go down to the track during an event, so I could talk to them in person and get tech to look over the vehicle.
It is one of the few situations where it would be better off if it was title and insured as a kit car.
