AR 15 anyone up for giving some advise to a new owner

Guess I'll throw in my 2-cents worth...

My BUSHMASTER AR-15.

BUSHMASTER Sliding/Collapsable Butt Stock
HAMMERS 3-9X 40GD Scope
OPTIX Laser
OPTIX Flashlight
CMMG AR Conversion Bolt (223/5.56 to .22LR)
(27x223) 30-round Magazines
(10x.22LR) 20-round Magazine
(4) Picatinny Rails

I got the Conversion Bolt because I like to go "plinking". .22 Rounds are a lot cheaper than 223 Rounds. You can use either Rounds for varmint control. It just doesn't hurt the wallet that bad, when you miss with a .22!!!!!
I also have a SKS. That's the extent of my assault rifles.

If you really want to shoot 22's get the S&W AR-15/22. I have one of the first ones that were sold, for the first 9 months it had 550 rounds a day (min.) 7 days a week run thru it. I have no idea the total since new. I have all the funiture on it with a red dot. I have 3 of those the last one being the spec one with everything already on it. At the time I was shooting well over 500 rounds a day ,7 days a week in about all calibers. When the ammo got scarce is when I quit shooting every day.

Ammo, mags, ammo mags, optics, ammo mags then any extra weight you want to add with accessories.
