Just a little info on helmets, always a good debate..all work fine but just because it cost allot of $$$ doesn't mean it performs any better. I like to see them going more toward shock absorbant than resistant. Take a look at the 6D helmets with a successful proof of concept.

What Exactly are they referring to on the Battery "Hot lead insulated"?
I was scratching my head over that too (thinking related to lead-acid battery? ) until I realized it's not "hot LED insulated", it's "hot LEED insulated"! -
Snell and ECE is preferred. DOT will be okay too for this event.
Why the snell rated helmet may I ask? DOT, ECE?

Great! I was about to post about the SNELL rating. I have a crapload of Helmets, but they all seem to be DOT and not Snell. Check off another requirement

@ivor you can give my hill climb spot away to the first person on the waiting list. I have a few things I have to take care before the event and won't have the time. I will still be there for the entire event, but with my trip to Canada the weekend before, I won't have time to replace and test parts for that kind of event.
