Troubleshoot Voltage Problem

  • At some point you are going to have a problem of something not working because of loss of power from a fuse blown. Here i show you how to find and check the fuse that is bad.

  • That is good info.

I like the new Bluetooth voltage distribution module because it actually let's you see in real time each zones amp draw and it allows you to see the total draw on all the zones.

That is really helpful if you want to see if somthing like an amplifier or a halo light is failing. Or if anything is trying to quit on you. Once you get used to seeing a zone pull at a certain amount you will notice any change quickly.

  • That is some high tech stuff. You can also check your battery status by checking the voltage in the morning before you start. When Brand new it will read 12.6 or 12.7v As it starts loosing it's ability to store a charge it will go less and less. mine is down to 12.50 and is two years old. If it gets to 12.3v you do not have long to go before failure.
I bet your Bluetooth device can monitor this.
