Yes, you can pick them up just about anywhere. And you can get the female harness that plugs into them for a few dollars also.
How to wire switchbacks?

try this site, for switchbacks installed on my ss...easy pee zee...:) no relays..
Morimoto XSB 2.0 (Switchback)
Put them on my SS also, they are fantastic and very bright... easy install

easy install. solder your connections versus the T-Taps. We get a lot of comments on ours

Go to the parts store and buy (2) $3.50 relays. 1 for each side.
look at the back side of the relay where the prongs are and you will see numbers by each prong. Then wire it like this..
85-------ground signal wiring, any ground
86-------tap into the (+) signal wiring
30-------input (+) running light wire
87a------output (+) running light wireJust tap into the positive turn signal wire and run it to pin 86. Then your going to feed the running light thru the relay. So cut the running light positive wire that you want to turn off when the turn signal is on and it will run to pin 30 then from 87a feed the running light. If you wire it like this every time the turn signal is on the replay will kill the running light.
Okay Rab , I finally tried tackling this project and I'm stuck !
The turn signals have three wires.
My LEDs have three wires (black, red, and white).
My relay has 5 pins and looks like this.
I can't figure it out. . .At one point I thought I had everything right, even tested it and seemed to be correct. Then I tried turning the Sling on (run motor) , but it was dead. So I jump started it , and the motor turned , but then the blinkers wouldn't work. I hit the hazards, they flashed once, and the signal on the gauges remained lit, then they stayed off. Turn signal lever would produce same result. And it effected the front and rear.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance!

Or if anybody else knows. . .

Got it!

Love the idea of the flashers above the mud flaps .... what and where did you get the lights for that?
-
@Bubblehead, thanks!
Whole setup was about $40. Just the mudflap blinkers were $10!

Other options available . . . . I just bought these for no particular reason .

I see where you would connect the amber wires but where did you connect the red taillight wires, did you run them all the way to the back?
-
Nope @Bubblehead. . . Red as running lights and the relay (purchased separately as recommended by @rabtech) switches red off and displays amber for turning. . . It switches back and forth like the front drls . . .
Combined the "left and right" amber signals on each strip since they were being applied to each side . . .
Also combined the reds (didn't connect to brakes for intensity differences) . . .

Or if anybody else knows. . .
Sorry about not seeing the post. Im glad to see you got it working. Did the relay solution work out for you?
-
No worries! They did! Perfectly !
I thought you were giving my an opportunity to be a Jedi master. . . Like a Yoda moment. . .

Okay, so I have some DRL LEDs similar to @lrobbi... They are switchbacks however, with standard power (red/black), but an additional white to trigger the amber (and I'm assuming shut off the white DRL).
Well, I tested them out directly to the blinker wiring (three wires as well). However, they light up white, and the blinker triggers the amber to come on, but the white stays on as well. I'm thinking this is because of the odd way the blinker is set up (with the side set always on, then the front blinks when triggered).
I am also able to wire them as off and then the blinker triggers just the amber (but the white drls aren't on), again, using just the blinker wiring.
So how can I do this? Thanks in advance...
I did these by the slingmod method but bought my drl switchbacks on ebay
