16.5 Black SS 2000 miles . So I had a warning light on my dashboard for the brakes. Took it out, reset the light by shutting off and restart at speed then did the slam on the brakes at 65 , 3 times to full stop . Stiffer brake petal and no light . Build date was FEB 16.

Had an issue yesterday with the Brake Failure light back on . At a stop I pumped the brakes hard 4-5 time and next time I started it back up It was gone.

.
Make a warranty appointment to have your brake pressure sensor switches replaced and a full system flush/bleed .... its the only "fix"....
.

Just got my fourth set installed yesterday. Warranty appointment is correct, but to call it a "fix", I dunno.

Seems like when the SS sit for a couple of days it pops back up , cycle the brakes and it goes away , dont think its a sensor issue .
-
How is your cold brake fluid levels? Just a thought.
-
Never below 60f
-
I mean is your fluid level on the low side when it has sat for a day. Just sounds like when you pump the brakes the light goes away that your your levels may be low. I had sensors replaced and it fixed my brake failure light. When mine came on it stayed on until power recycle, then on again when I applied the brakes.

.it is ..... and also a well known documented problem that presents itself exactly as you have described ....

Orange dude is 100% correct. It is the sensors. It will not get better by itself, it will just get worse.
Call the dealer to make sure they get the parts in hand. It is about an hour for the repair.

I take it up to about 60 and lock it down , stiffens up the brakes also when you do that . That leads me to believe there is air in the line that migrates rather than a bad sensor. Still have a 1 1/2 on the warranty will get it all done at one time .

If that is what you believe then take 10 minutes and bleed them ...... I am sure with your certification you are more than capable ....Then ... after a bit... when the brake light pops back up in the dash go get the two brake pressure sensors on the MC replaced ....
