Need help with upgrading 2020 sound system

    I have a friend with a 2020 SS and had the stock radio replaced with an aftermarket radio. Now the chassis assist light is on and slingshot mode does not work. Tried looking for an aftermarket stereo harness with no luck. He would like to put the stock radio back in, but everyone says it is not possible to get enough power to the amp and speakers. Is it possible to keep the stock radio and get enough power for aftermarket amp and speakers? Or if he leaves the aftermarket stereo in, is it possible to have slingshot mode work?

    With the stock radio you can add a line level output converter which will enable you to add amps. You can get cheap ones or something like the Audiocontrol LC series for more control over amps/sound combinations.
