Oddessey Battery

    I have bought the battery upgrade tray for my 2018 SLR LE from Slingmods.

    I was wanting to go with the yellow top battery but have since changed my mind and am wanting to use the oddesey battery.

    Does anyone know which model to use?

    Will it fit the tray?

    Anybody use this and how did it turn out?

    I'll try searching Oddessey and see if it works.

    I ran an Odyssey PC1200MJT AGM in my 2017 and it was great. Rated at 42Ah with 540CCA.

    The “MJT” has a metal jacket (and removable terminals) so, it is like having a built in battery box.


    I did very minor mods to the factory tie down bracket so the 3 fuses stayed in the same location. From there, BAZT to hold the battery in place.


    BAZT = Big Ass Zip Ties. I used 3 four footers rated at 175lb each. Battery didn’t move at all.



    I have since changed to a HUGE battery so I can leave my led’s and stereo on for stupid amounts of time.
