White Rally Wheel Set for SS - HELP!

  • Hello everyone. Long time listener, first time caller.

I am new to the SS world, and already looking to do some mods on my SL. I have looked through endless threads on wheels and ideal setups, but I am really struggling to find anything that will work for what I want.

I really want to do a WRC rally style slingshot, with some multispoke or dual face white wheels. The problem I am finding is that most Rally style wheels don't go larger than 17". And then when I find some that are 19" or 20", they do not meet the width or offset I am looking for.

Below is the closest I have found that might work, but I really want some feedback from those who have aftermarket wheels before I pull the trigger. Or, if anyone can find any that I haven't seen, that would be awesome too. Would 19" x 8.5" work? Would 25mm offset be too much to mill and get close? Am I going to lose my mind trying to find these wheels? All good questions.

Option 1 - Black Rhino Alston. These are 20", but only 8.5" wide and 25mm offset is way too low, right?

Option 2 - Rotiform KB1. These are 19" x 8.5", but do have the 40mm offset which is close enough. Worried about the width tho.

    Option 3 - Niche Flash - 20" x 10.5" 40mm offset - but it really isn't the style I was looking for.

Option 4 - Rotiform VCE. Just TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE! gorgeous though.

Thank you in advance, and also top work on the great forum!

  • You can change the offset in the front a bit with not much worry. However, if you want that rear tire centered you must go with the stock offset.

Stock front is 42mm, and I have 35mm in an aftermarket wheel. Had to do that because the style I chose would hit the bake caliper.

Rear offset stock is 45mm. Keep that!
