Had a client some years back. Made really good money and when he retired he sold his home and had a custom R.V. built for well over 3/4 million so that he and his wife could explore the country. After about a year he stopped in the office with his wife and they announced that after over 45 years they were getting divorced. He moved down to New Port beach and started dating some young interior decorator and they started going all over the world spending his money. Lost touch with him for some time after that until one day when we got a call from one of his children telling us that the girl friend had sucked his finances dry and dumped him and the he had put a gun in his mouth and ended it all.
the way I see it if he and his wife had never gotten that dang R.V. they would probably still be happily married and he would still be among the living

Damn. I had a friend that endured something similar.
His wife passed away from battling cancer for years. He started dating a woman of similar age but stunningly beautiful. I noticed soon he was posted alot of things for sale. Soon after her profile read "single". I questioned a mutual friend and he told me she was basically a gold digger. When she saw that her lifestyle would not be as lavish as she wanted, she left.
Thankfully he's found someone else that seems more down to earth.
