I have been looking for info on this type of project without much success until I found your post today. I purchased a ‘21 SL in April. I just got the Rockford Fosgate roll hoop speakers installed a few weeks ago and it still needs some bass. I think I’m going to go with a single 10” sub behind one of the seats.
I could not find any info on wiring the new amp into the ride command head unit so I love to hear any advice/tips you found

If you see the pic in post #3 theres a brown wire in there thats the wire i connected the blue wire (remote on) from the amp (make sure you test it) & the stock rocksfords oem amp wasnt using the rear outlet speaker (purple set & green set) wires, so i used those wires to connect to the input rca jacks on the amp ....... hope that makes sense.. ...this install will be fluid because im sure she'll be adding rear speakers and probably a 4 channel amp also .........

Changed the title of the thread from “2021 Slingshot R .......has anyone....” to “2021 Slingshot R ...Little Bass anyone....”. -
I have not tore the dash apart yet, but I was worried about find a way to drive the sub amp. Do you have the stage 3 roll hoop speakers? I do and I assume that is what the purple/green set of wires is driving in mine.
I guess I could run a multi channel amp in 3 channel mode and use that for the roll hoop speakers and the sub. Just figured a single channel sub amp would be the cheapest & simplest upgrade path -

Just figured a single channel sub amp would be the cheapest & simplest upgrade path.......this isnt my vehicle, I just do installs....... there aren't any roll hoop speakers on it yet but they will be coming, that will complete her sound & with the bass I believe she will be happy, she is not willing to give up her space behind the seats ( women do need their space ) .......she was lucky , she got the amp & underglove box woofer from someone who was upgrading his sound system again .....i have friends who are on their 3rd sound system ....... Moral of the story....NO 2 sets of ears are the same ......

I’d like to avoid taking the dash apart until I have ordered and received all the items I need for the sub install so I appreciate your help in relating what the head unit has for connections. I found a company selling adapters for the factory harness. It seems their are 3 connectors (amp1, amp2 & amp3) at least in razors because this is an atv focused accessory company. They mention using amp1 for front, amp2 for rear & amp3 for a sub. This is exactly what I want, it wondering if there appears to be an empty socket that would allow me to plug this in ?

Dont remember seeing any empty plug behind there But thats a nice plug, sort of what i made myself to connect the JL Audio Amp.....

Not much room to walk around your SS in garage, but that means everything is in arms reach, right! Sound systems are always a work in progress. Looks good!

The 2021 Slings have a radically different amp/harness than the '18-20 Slings. We make a plug-n-play harness that has 4 RCA's and gets rid of the factory Rockford amp. $80. We'll have more available later this week.
-
where can i purchase your harness

xd675x Do you make a harness that retains the factory amp but adds RCAs and Remote wire? I planning adding speakers in my raptor roof and a sub but would like to retain the stock speakers as well.
Also MADDMOE You ran your power wire underneath the Sling? I see your wiring coming from the back yet the battery is in the front now?

Yes we make a harness to keep the stock amp and then run an additional amp. It'd be better to ditch the factory amp and go aftermarket though. Easy to rewire to the stock speakers. Way better sound doing it this way.
