With all due respect - can you really say your leaders in UK are any better?? Plus, for the “royal family” figurehead - don’t get me started on that outdated dynasty that should have been done away with centuries ago - we sure did !!!

Read the postings fully. I never said ours are any better (or worse) and I have criticized both the left & the right wing politicians.

It is not a slur at any one party or policies. It is offence that the US president could not stand in the rain with other world leaders.

Excuses about helicopters, not being up to the job or secret service people telling him to stay in bed, just don't wash, when all the others were able to attend (on the 10th) and then return to their own country's for the 11th.

Mr. Trump did go to the ceremony. On the 11th, not the 10th when all the other dignitaries went. Not too much coverage of the REAL news.

Your not going to change my mind.

He could not get off his ass and join the others, in the rain. The people that died never had a dam hellicopter to get them to the front and the other leaders didn't need them either.

It is not the way any leader of a respected country should act. Even if he is popular.

And these views go for both Left & Right, over here.

Our two major party leaders, at that day.

The same disgust was shown to Corbyn, for wearing a "small" poppy, a red tie & a grey rain coat.

I would expect any party leader, from any country to show respect and decency, on this day.

Any leader would loose my respect, for acting like that.

I have visited the trenches, tunnels and graves, of some of the war dead, from this war.
Life would have been a living hell.

Anyone can make time to show some respect for what they gave. Even if they don't have a golf course, near by.

I heard that our President did not honor our troops on veterans day, that's fake news.:00008172::00008172:

I thought long and hard, before posting this.

It was headline news all across Europe, that your President wouldn't stand in the rain, on Armistice Day, (100 years, to the day, from the end of WW1.) along with the other European leaders.
ANY leader, left or right, looses my respect, if they think they are too important to do that.

I try to be, non political, with all my comments, on this thread, but any leader that cannot respect all nations war dead, is an offensive leader, to people that have given their lives, for our freedom.

    NOT FAKE NEWS !

if yall can see this post. Please make note that the site may be up and down a little today. It appears that the site is fine. It is the https address that is not working. Basically the SSL certificate is not working on this site. When I try to apply the certificate it looses the rest of the settings and the site goes down. That is why some of you are getting the warning that it's not safe to proceed to the site.

    I'm working on that now.

    Feedback:

I,m receiving that message, on my Samsung S8, Android phone, but not when using, Firefox, in a LINUX, Mint system.

Hope that's of use to you.
    Paul.

Polaris, set up something, very much like this, in the UK, for Victory riders.

The regional reps' were known as "Ambassadors." It worked well & was a very low cost option, for Polaris as these people organized ride outs, manned stands at exhibitions and helped fellow riders, with no end of support, for the product. It was an excellent marketing tool and even though Victory Motorcycles, finally, failed, this was a great benefit to promoting a great product.

    Sad, but...
It would appear that Polaris are heading off, half cocked, with no set direction.

Your in a different time zone than USA so the janitor probably answered your email. :P

    @War Hoop.

Very pleasant people, at the Polaris end of the telephone line...
Just incapable of getting anything to the people that mattered & could do something positive. Total bureaucratic tosh!

They lost the reference, o the system, for my query, at least 3 times (I think it was 4, but gave up counting). I suspect that they just could not be bothered to help.
That was how it appeared, to me, the customer.

    At last...
It looks like Polaris have managed to include "non North American" SlingShot riders now.

This is our exclusive, membership card, with full details on it.

    Well done, Polaris!
    :cursing:

I'm feeling a little better, for a while now, so Elaine (my wife) and I have he added off to North Wales, for a few days.

We haven't taken the SlingShot, with us, as it has a wind chill of -7'C (19'F) on the mountains, in this area, tonight.

The national emberlum, of Wales is a red Dragon.

We are stopping, in a lovely, small, old, coaching inn.

The rooms are great, this is our one.

Right now we are downstairs, in the lounge/bar area having our evening meal. The food is absolutely fantastic.

Earlier in the day we took a trip out, to an area that sent slate, all over the British Empire. The slate was transported down to the coast, on a narrow gage railway and we took a ride on it, with some great views.

The area that we are stopping in is called Snowdonia
    Snowdonia - Wikipedia
Tis is a mountainous region, in North Wales. The pricice area where we are staying is called "Betwy-Y-Coed."
Pronounced a Lillie like: "Betts Ee Co-Edd." Yes Welsh is a lovely language, but it doesn't have many vowel, in the words (sometimes, none at all) and requires a lot of flem, when talking, in it.

    Footnote:
And while someone new every day experiences the joy that comes with being told that the Welsh word for 'microwave' is 'popty ping', the actual, official, word, meicrodon, is just as fantastic, especially since it could be describing a very small mafia boss

would LOVE to but last year we sold 150 so this is a big leap over previous years - I don't think I can count on many sales from Facebook or Instagram becuase if they aren't a member, they didn't submit, and won't see their Slingshot inside

    @Ross
Can I suggest that: At a time, that you decide. You request that members of this forum copy and paste a link to the calender order form, on any/all of the Facebook groups that we are members of.

That way it may receive blanket coverage on Facebook, when you decide.

Just an idea (we will all need to do our bit to help).

    Again
    An outsiders view...

Our main (BBC) news program today, had the headline.
    "Trump makes America vote, again."
It did not show prejudice to one party or another. (It's against British law, to do that). But it did show that people actually got out and voted.

Well done to all of you that did vote, whatever party you may support. At least the result should now be a fair representation of the public view. Whatever happens

    EDIT:
Posted a little after the poles, started to close.

    @Andy Hatch
Similar reaction to the one you got.
Some time ago, when I was asking, if we non-US owners could join "The club."

    The response I got was:
"That's above my pay grade, sir."

    Burocratic tosh!!
