Sorry it is taking us a little bit of time to start a big production on these we are testing different epoxies to try to have the best quality for you guys we are perfecting our technique and our templates we we'll be ready for production by the end of next week.

I will start taking deposits on Monday because we need to order the part's from Polaris that you want because our plan is you place the order we will build the part and you send yours in in the day yours arrives we will send your new ones out so you will have as little downtime without your part's as possible. Or second option is you can pay the core charge we will send you the new parts and when we receive your old ones back as long as they're in good condition we will refund your core.

We already have some of these and parts in stock so the first few orders that come in we will be able to produce and get out very quickly.

We also have a range of colors we're working closely with the manufacture of this carbon fiber to make sure that we can customize your slingshot in your style so you stand out apart from everyone else.

    Orange
    Blue
    Green
    Reflections read
Also have a variety of patterns.
I have a whole bunch of samples on the way so I will be making them next week to show you what it will look like after epoxy.

Will you be doing the front chin spoiler? Sorry if I missed it or you called it something else.

we can do it it just drags the ground a lot and the edges will get damaged we were thinking about trying one with a hard cut off line about a half inch from the bottom but I'm not sure how it will look.

When you are good to go will you post a link, I am going to sell a kidney in the morning so I can get started ordering as soon as you can take orders

We are working on the website right now as we speak. Also trying to get pricing to Together for you guys to give you the best price possible it's probably going to be right about the same price as hydroDipping.

Another thing we are working on is packages just hood inserts and another package with hood inserts nose and rear humps the Dashboard will be a separate.

Ok ok you got me hooked....now where do I order?

We should be ready to take orders by the end of the week.

Man imagine a cf wheel with cf dash. Beautiful.

I wrapped might with vinyl and it looks awesome but when I put this 12 K carbon fiber on their it's going to be unbelievable. But I haven't figured out the logistics on how to receive and shipped to someone else's Dash. I think it's only 12 bolts that you have to remove including the windshield and a few push rivets but once we get that figured out we will be offering this to everyone.

do lay-overs require an autoclave, or can the fiber just be applied with a lot of vacuum ports and an oven? (familiar with carbon fiber- former ops mgr for co that made un-manned drones for USAF)

Hand lane carbon fiber over existing parts does not require a vacuum or an oven the epoxies are different then if you're building a structural part with impregnated carbon fiber. But we do a vacuum bag to cure on smaller more difficult parts. To get it right it is all about prepping the surface of what you want to bond to and knowing how to lay it correctly. There are some guys making molds and creating parts from those moles the problem is they do not fit as well as the factory parts so it's better to use the factory parts that we know fit correctly and will ultimately look better.

TX SS, LOOKS GREAT....Is this what you do for a living???

it is going to be a side business for us. we like doing it so much and it looks a lot better then the Hydro dipped stuff we thought we would do it for a lot of friends here in Houston but it's turning into a pretty big deal so were starting to unveil it to all of our friends here on the form that may want it also.

So we are opening Carbon Expressions we can hand lay most any part car truck motorcycle or ATV. I used to work with fiberglass a lot building custom speaker boxes this is not much different just a lot more tedious and detail. And my business partner getRDun is really good at it also.

Did you just cover the original part in carbon or did you use it to make a mold and make a whole new piece?

It's just overlaid on the original part's. we will be offering these very soon. ;)

I like anything carbon fiber - the more parts the better

    • we're doing all the hood inserts the Black humps behind the seats and I'm doing the whole Dashboard and stereo surround.
