I don't think I can go that far. There are some people I just refuse to like, and as long as I have a choice I will do nothing for them.
My dealer had at least one swing arm in stock when he changed my axle and the bearings 3 weeks ago. I will find out tomorrow.
I have never had mine to sputter. But I did get a good backfire out of it yesterday morning when I cranked it up. That was a first.
I just had the axle and the bearings replaced a few weeks ago at 38,000 miles on warrenty.
Dec 2014 build is T-16-03-A Fuel Line Replace Clip Inspect and also T-16-06-EA Swing Arm replacement

Fortunately, it was a business trip, so I didn't have my better half with me. Keeping my eye on this one, just to make sure there will be no surprises.
Also they let you bring in your dogs/animals (OK @Tripod) at this MicroTel. That is why I no longer stay in this motel, people are bad enough, I damn sure am not sleeping where the dogs have been sleeping.

At this time I have 38,000 miles on the fronts, I will change out after the first of the year, to start the new season with new tires. Still a few thousand miles could be run on the fronts. As far as the rear I changed out at 16,000 miles, almost to the wear bar but did not want to take a chance on a trip in case of rain. I did keep it as a spare just in case. But for some reason there was a minor difference in the wear between the two sides of the tire. The passenger side has a little more wear on it than the drivers side. At the 16,000 miles I installed the BFG Comp and I did not get much mileage out of it even though it had good traction IMHO. Mileage is on here somewhere for the BFG. I am now running a General, great traction IMO. I will be installing the same tire on the front shortly. @j4henry is also running these same tires. By the way the SlingShot had the laser alighment at about 1,000 miles and it made one hell of a difference in the way it drove and handled.
@FunCycle let me know what you figure out. I would love to get something to keep warm. Torn between heated seats or heated clothes. Leaning to heated clothes.
I can tell you right now, it will not be heated seats. That is just a waste of electricity.
If you have a Cycle Gear store near you go in and look at their Seduci heated riding gear. Their liners use the carbon heating gear that is very effective and it is guaranteed for the life of the product. They will do a one for one swap in the store if there is a problem. It generally cost less than the name brands.
