How is that? The problem is, some are making more than if they were working.

I have a friend in Texas that works for a contractor in the refineries and he is trying to get some of the laborers back to work. Texas unemployment maxes out at $521 a week. Now add on the $600 federal unemployment check, that's a really good income for just staying at home..........needless to say, no one wants to come back to work until the federal assistance is over.

Welcome to the forum CHIEFP Lot of smart people in here that will help you with just about anything Slingshot. I don’t think I have read anything about pedal extensions though. Hopefully someone can help.

I have been very dissatisfied with the nitto 555. I will definitely be going back to the T1R!

Yeah Ghost me too. I had put one on the back and when it was fairly new it got pretty good grip. Then all of a sudden it wouldn't get hardly any traction. I thought maybe the tire just went through too many heat cycles and got hard. Well I didn't learn and put a complete set on the Sling last year right before Maggie Valleyand they felt pretty good. Then I was too sick to ride in the summer heat so they just set there doing nothing until this spring. ............... no traction but they will let the supercharger work good.:00008862::00008862::thumbdown:

ps They work pretty good on wet roads.

Those SOBs can keep their ass I Texas - I’ll stay here in the swamps. Cottonmouths are bad enough - wife found a copperhead on porch last week- everybody else is fertilizing grass and flowers - to hell with that - I just had 100 lbs of snake repellent spread around my house - I HATE those slithering bastards !!! This is how I gotta go on my porch now.....

Bill Martin i stopped at the new Louisiana rest area coming back from Texas before all this virus still happening. Wouldn’t you know it that Louisiana has installed new “Danger Keep Out” signs but the misspelled them.

I was on DDM Works website like most of us wishful thinking and window shopping. I left a review on a product that I just got from them (it was perfect as usual and with instructions that even I can follow). I was stunned by the lack of reviews for their products. Allot of us and I do mean ALLOT have purchased products from Dave. I know that Dave is legendary in the Slingshot Community and really doesn't need our reviews to be successful but I just want to ask if some of you folks if you have a moment and are happy with the products you have got from Dave please leave a review of the product and a google review as well. Thanks folks. Dave gives allot to this community. Show em some <3

Tim you are right about Dave being legendary in the Sling Shot world. His products and customer service are second to none in my book. But he is also legendary in the Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky market. A few years back I went to a Cars and Coffee in Houston. For some reason they parked me with the high dollar cars. Had my hood open to show off my goodies and I had two people come to me asking how Dave was doing. I asked how they knew Dave and they said they had DDM supercharger and other aftermarket parts on their Sky’s. I thought that was pretty cool.

So sorry for your loss Larry. I never had a chance to meet him but all the awesome things I’ve heard about him he must have been quite the character. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Our prayers are with you sir.

dangerdarrell and HeRSling my prayers go out to y’all. So glad that you are not going to get chemotherapy. It’s not fun watching that poison run into our bodies and the uncertainty of what side effects you are going to feel this time.
Y’all will or have gone through very many levels of emotions that bring you down but you can also get in the Sling and feed that happy emotion. It works for sure.

Love you guys, thinking about y’all, and if you need someone to talk to just pm me.

Wish I was able to help you Jason I . I live over here in Lake Charles which isn't too far of a run. But my chemo treatments have started again and just don't have that drive in me anymore.

I can assure you that installing the exhaust and header is really pretty easy just takes time. I never did the cold air intake though so I don't know how drawn out that is.

    Good luck on your install.
