Just when I thought I was finished with mods, something really useful comes along. Do they come in black?
Black is the only color I have right now, they can be painted to color of choice later if preferred.

I should be there by 10 on Thursday... If something changes and I get there earlier ill let ya know.
Yours should be an easy fix, it shouldn't very long to get you fixed up!
@mniron , how much are the latches? You should probably bring quite a few.
I have been doing The Fender Buttons for $150 installed. Your hood must work properly before I start. If I need to adjust the hood then we need to talk. If your hood does not latch properly now or if you have trouble opening your hood, The Fender Buttons will not fix it. There are several posts on adjusting your hood, @rabtech posted one that works well. If you have a fender kit from Anibal Automotive, at this time I can sell you a kit, but I will not install.
Dang. It sounds like your going to be busy mniron... that's a good thing.....
Maybe you should get there early
Two thirds of the weight on front axles, one third weight on rear. Roughly 600 pounds per wheel.
Please save us a set also.
Got you covered.
I need a set also
I want someone to take a picture of you when I drill a hole in your flame job.
Sir,If possible I would like two sets installed on our Slings at Eureka Springs.
Thanks,
Trent
No problem
@mniron I'll take my commision check in the form of a cold beverage.
Ok, but if it is as hot as Maggie, we are both having a cold beverage.
By the way.... those hood locks really do work. I was the first one he installed in Maggie Valley and I have one that doesn't quite stay locked. It usually will till I get up to 80 or 90 mph and meet a truck. However the other side locks like a Fort Knox safe. I mentioned it to @mniron and he sent me a new lock to replace the one that doesn't work correctly via priority mail. So it's my fault it's not fixed yet. I will give his product 2 thumbs up. It REALLY makes the hood stiff and stops all the bowing up when meeting a semi truck or a gust of wind... Like I mentioned in the above post I'll just let the pro fix it when I get to the Ozarks.
Thanks for the great review and compliments.
Cool. I may let you install that part that you sent me. I have been so busy it's still laying here on my nightstand. I'm going to carry it to the truck right now and put it in the glove box.
I will be happy to get yours fixed up for you!
Anyone know if the guy that did the lock down hood installs at Maggie Valley will be at Eureka Springs?
Pam
Yes, I plan to be there!
Let the mods begin
Dad's having all the fun! Ronan wants to play!
The needle bearing is the one most likely that will need replacing. The sealed double race bearing should be replaced if you remove it, you can't remove it by pushing against the outer race so damage is likely. Without the proper tools the double race bearing needs to be removed to remove the needle bearing. Until you remove the axle to investigate you will not know if you need both bearings.
IMO, if you need a new needle bearing, replace both. Cheap insurance.
You also can find the correct size double race bearing for $20, but I have yet to find one with the speed sensor ring.

I love this commentator, must be my Irish heritage!!
I think the bracket is to go through the spokes
Thanks for the torque info. Just got the shocks but will not put them on until tonight when the heat subsides. Only issue I gave is, paying $100 for the paint and there are some scracthes and a gouge on 2 of the springs. Guess I will use some black touchup paint. I will review the ride after I get a few hundred miles on them.
Before you install your shocks you should contact your vendor. If you paid an additional $100, then it should be right.
A Supercharged Happy Birthday Vada!! Congratulations Henry and Amanda!!
