I hope it's an affordable top...

Oh wait, it's OEM Polaris... $5000 top. 🤡

Sad but true....I am nervous about what the Brembo brakes option is going to cost.I like what I am seeing with the 2022 Sling, hood scoop,Brembo brakes, possibly more power with the Prostar 2000 revealed a couple weeks ago in a side by side. But I am afraid the 2022 Sling with all these options will put the price near if not over $40,000.

okay, is it just me or does it look like the frame of that top in the video attaches where the roll hoops would attach? - - I dont see the conventional roll hoops at all and it looks like the tubes of the frame go down where the hoops would be as if rollover protection is incorporated into the top frame.

am I seeing things? - - - or is it just the hoops are the s type hoops?

    a screen shot

Your onto something there Edward Neal After looking at the video in slow mo,the next shot in the video is the women on the driver side zipping up a new storage thing where the normal roll bar hoops would be.In that same shot of her zipping up this storage thing you can see clearly that there is no old hoops there and the canvas top frame looks to be attached where the old hoops would be.Lot of cross members in the frame in that shot as well.....Interesting!

I've found out so far that the 2022 base model color is Ghost Grey.

Interesting! That would look good on the S model, since they do solid colors on the S's with no accent color like they did with the SLR in 2018 with Lime Squeeze. Thanks for the info....

SC Slinger I have mentioned a "day trip" to Joan... leave here, to Cherokee, parkway to visitors center just before gatlinburg, cut across to Townsend, to Maryville, down 129 to deals gap, 28 to walhalla/home. Whatcha think? 😁

Lowpt2001 that's a good loop with a lot of great roads. With the time changing, not sure you could do it all in the daylight hours. Our next free Saturday to ride is October 23rd.We are thinking about just doing the BRP like we normally do this time of year.Of course take some fun curvy roads up to it and off of it back home.Nothing exciting, just a cruise to see the fall colors that you can do with daylight savings time.I do like your loop though,if y'all do decide to run it,let me know and I will see IF my plans have changed.

I don't know how I missed seeing this before now. This is Moonshiner 28, right? How much of it did you ride? It is fairly local to me, dalton202, SC Slinger and a few others.

I know Don will chime in...But it looks like the top half of Moonshiners 28.Deals Gap to Franklin N.C..( Lowpt2001 the section we did during the Maggie Valley Rally) Not the bottom half from Franklin N.C. to Walhalla S.C. .Either way, that's my favorite road to run.

Added this event to my calendar. Thanks in advance for the planning and info..

We took out this morning for an early ride. Was supposed to get up around 90, and with the humidity here in Indiana, we planned to be back early afternoon. Well, the humidity wasn't all that bad, it did get hot though. We ended up riding over 300 miles. We rode about 75 miles of mostly 1 1/2 lane wide back roads, many with canopy of trees that met from one side to the other. We rode one of my favorite roads, one that I've not been on for a couple years (IN 62, Chief Whitehead Trail). The road was mostly redone in the past year, so great condition overall. Basically I rode from home in Lynn, In, to Madison, In (think Regatta speed boat races over the 4th of July) and back in a very roundabout way. Didn't take a single pic, but had a great ride and a great time with just me and my wife of nearly 43 years. :)

OK, pic so y'all don't feel shorted. This is of our 10 day, nearly 4,000 mile trip to SD, WY, and Montana about a month ago. 7 Slingshots were there, several members from this forum were with us. I had the top on for the trip, but shows our Slingshot well from the front ( 35k, Supercharged, still doing flawless bjk81 ). Oh, and that's my close friend's wife (Also a close friend) that was very excited about the buffalo! ( Detective6811 )

Love the hood cut out like that.Wish I was brave / talented enough to do mine.Good looking Sling!

One week to go.....So how many of you are going? Me and another Slinger from upstate S.C. are going for the whole week next week to explore and ride the awesome roads that Kentucky/Virginia and West Virginia have to offer.Forecast looks about perfect for next week and weekend in that area, should be a great event.Hope to see some of ya there.....

Different switches Shane. The brake failure light is usually caused by the switches in the master cylinder. Those are the ones that I changed. The magnetic switch being changed to a mechanical one is the brake pedal switch. This one causes a traction control light. Both faults can be reset by restarting the sling and neither of them will stop you from riding, unless there is a true fault not related to the switches. Either way both are fairly easy fixes that give you peace of mind.

I almost forgot, I NEVER drive spirited!!!!! LOL!!!

Gotcha...Makes since since you had to bleed the brakes afterwords.Magnetic switch will be next it seems,a lot going bad here lately.Never drive "spirited"....You going to:00007505:

SC Slinger that too! Seriously, getting on brakes really hard like that instance is precisely what I'm referring to. Maybe have Dalton try locking it up a few times...just to see? I have switches on order (from performance 🙄🤦‍♂️) I am debating on whether or not to have them changed now.

I am pretty sure he went with the mechanical ones over the junk stock magnetic ones.So hopefully no more issues for him.If I was you,if you have the mechanical ones coming, change them out. Also, when Dalton changed his out,he took his Sling to Cherokee cycles in Greer to bleed the brakes,he said it made a world of difference...So much so,it stops like a car now.
