do you have the same cooler that is shown in my picture above sir?
Yup.
do you have the same cooler that is shown in my picture above sir?
Yup.
Your mounting pins should be near the bottom of the intercooler which would keep the oil cooler below the sway bar. The black circles on my intercooler are the mounting pins and you can see how much higher the white sway bar is than the oil cooler.
The oil cooler just needs to get air across/through it. It does not have to be directly on the intercooler. Please DO NOT mount the oil cooler to the sway bar.
does the other side of the rotor look the same?
Go back and read post #3.......slowly.
I'm not sure about the rest of you, but this is what I think of every time BigDog comments on anything.
That or talk with kev at AllThingsSlingshot and he will set you up right.
Twist Dynamics took over Welter's line of exhausts. The 2.5 sidekick is still available.

One thing to note is you have to call them and let them know what system you boosted your Slingshot with as their site doesn't have enough options in the drop down menu.
Does anybody have a Scorpio remote charger that you need to find a new home for. If you do I can offer excellent care and often feed of the charger. Scorpio has made their charge port very small and weird (proprietary) so a person in need is a customer in deed. I'll also post in the wanted section.
Thanks

Yes, keep us posted. I have a full rear brake set up that I can send you for the cost of shipping. It's just taking up space in my garage anyways.
Here are some visuals to help.
If you look closely the plastic is notched to not hit the projector headlights:
Here on the new nose it is no longer notched as the LED headlight sits further back:
finding the part number and ordering one from Polaris is easy, but is anyone 100% sure it is backward compatible with earlier slingshots? - with the changes they made to lights they might have slightly changed the nose as well
The only change is the opening in the new nose for the LED headlight is a bit more squared off at the bottom. It will still work with the 2019 and older Slingshots if you decide to keep the round projector headlights, but you will need to slightly trim the nose were it meets the lights. I've done a few of them. Pretty sure Jack over at UAS even has a template or you can just overlay the old nose cone over the new one and make your markings.
If the goal is to just cover the Polaris logo the carbon fiber nose cover is the easier and cheaper solution.
The part number is 5457497 and costs around $230. You'll have to disassemble the hood panels to get it in place.
Slingmods has this and you don't have to take apart anything for $200:
Display MoreToday, I received the final pieces of the cell phone mount I ordered and thus, the saga begins. A big shout out and thanks to our friend MADDMOE for the line on what I consider to be a magnificent mod. First, I received these two parts from Quadlock. Very high quality components ordered for my specific phone. Fits like a glove...
Then I received these two components from RAM Mounts. Also extremely high quality...
Here's where the plan suddenly went south. The thread on the ball mount is different than the thread inside the hole(s) on the NRG Center Support Post. Seriously!? Very disappointed!!!
So, after some thought about returning the whole thing, I decided to improvise. I removed the rear mounting bolt from the center post and replaced it with the mounting ball, which fit very well, and tightened everything back down...
As it turned out, it was the perfect fix for the circumstance and, ironically, I love the way it turned out. It's a rock-solid mount with no movement and no vibration...
I hope this helps anyone that might be looking for ideas for a cell phone mount. 😉
RAM makes the ball mounts in different thread sizes as well. Que Tripod 😉
Shoot, I jinxed it! 😭
Display MoreOkay, WTF is That?!?!?!?
I saw yours and thought, Okay, That's really pretty and I like it. I should go paint my intake like his. Then I looked at mine and noticed that is nothing like mine.
I'm presuming something for the turbo, but what kind? Spill the details.
This is a Hahn intake manifold. He was nice enough to build it to my specs.
Rocking a DDM supercharger with some upgrades.
Did a small project getting ready for Slingshots Uncorked. Got in the engine dress up kit from Kyle D. ZZP put together a very nice bolt and washer kit.
WraithSS got you fixed up - my apologies working with the town / ABC and the Health Department has been a challenge. My head is spinning and I am trying to keep everyone updated
No worries Mitch. Just anxious to get to hang with you fun folks.

Am I still included in this group? 🤪
I live in Montclair and my parents are over in Lorton. Would be willing to assist. I'm a little booked up getting my own Sling ready for Slingshots Uncorked though. Shoot me some days you are looking to get it done. Let's see if we can work something out to get you boosted and smiling from ear to ear as that tire melts. 😈
Now That is some welcome news. Looking forward to seeing both of you - It has been way to long my friend . If you trailer and need a spot to park the truck and trailer or even just the trailer. You can park it at the ranch.
Be safe
Thanks brother. I've been wanting to come to this event since you started it. Since this is my first I'm not sure what the parking situation is at the host hotels. So, I may have to take you up on parking the trailer there. Thank you so much.
