Looks like Project Veritas has been secretly dialing into the teleconferences of the news networks and is going to release recordings of what they tease as proof that those organizations are doing exactly what you mention above. Sad that my company apparently has better teleconference security than CNN does....

As much as I wish Trump had won, I must say that to my way of thinking the huge lack of success of democrats down ballot in this election would seem to me to be pretty strong evidence that there was not a huge amount of voter fraud

I just find it very hard to believe that the left would orchestrate the kind of voter fraud needed to swing a presidential election across multiple states and would not take the time to also vote for the Democratic congress candidates on the fraudulent ballots and counts they were creating

It just doesn't make any sense at all - - - - - - seriously what kind of idiot would put in the effort required to pull this off and then let Democrats lose power in the House and not take the Senate????

I was just having this conversation with someone a few days ago and we were bouncing around possible scenarios where that might have happened. The best one we came up with was if you were going to add ballots after in person voting had concluded you would probably want to keep the number of people involved as small as you could to reduce risk of discovery and you would need to move pretty quickly to blend a late delivery into the counting location with other mail in ballots that arrived on election day. Say you know you need 9000 ballots to make up a shortfall based off the in person voting totals at the end of the day and have 9 people that you trust to be part of that. A person could bubble in 1000 ballots for president only a whole lot faster than they could bubble in multiple candidates. Not saying any of this did or didn't happen. We were just working through if we could come up with a viable scenario of where it might make sense to have a mail in ballot with only the presidential race filled in and delivered at the last minute.

Wonder when the arrests will start for the illegal ballots. Trump was a step ahead with the hidden watermarks on the ballots. Get your popcorn ready.

Pretty sure the watermark tweet was false. Federal Govt does not print ballots. States do that. Technically Fed Govt could covertly do that i guess, but the legal battle to do an operation of that magnitude would never stay secret for long not to mention the legal hurdle that would have to be overcome to even get it approved.

I am very sure there is some fraud - - but as I said, I do not believe it would be possible to have enough fraud to flip a national election or that it would even be needed when the guy that they currently show winning has more than 4 million more popular votes than the guy they show who probably wont win

arranging a fraud on that scale and then managing to keep it from being discovered - - - Seriously you are talking about generating 100's of thousands of fraudulent ballots and then getting those ballots through the system and counted without one single volunteer worker noticing that something wasn't right - - you would need a huge number of people willing to participate, hundreds if not more, all willing to break the law, all willing to tear down democracy - - - - - Sorry, but I just dont think nost people are that dishonest, a few - sure, but not enough

Also I highly suspect that for every act of voter fraud that some Democrat commits there is some Republican some place doing the exact same thing - - -I would bet money that there are just as many conservative lying crooks as there are liberal lying crooks - - to think that one side is the only side that would cheat -- - - - really

I thought the same as you before all of this (small fraud happens, but is likely inconsequential), but the margins are so thin in this election that fraud even on a small scale could have impacts so I'm not so quick to discount this. CA had about 12 million votes cast and Biden has about a 2:1 margin over Trump so you have a valid argument that fraud probably doesn't make a difference there. I just checked the AP website and the margin in Georgia is currently 1,544 votes with almost 5 million votes cast... A few ballot counters doing something they shouldn't could easily mean the difference in that state. Even in AZ and PA the difference is 20,137 and 14,512 (and PA has over 6.6 million votes cast). Much of the news reports I've seen have discounted fraud claims by stating that there isn't evidence of large scale fraud and I'm probably inclined to agree with them. The issue is that there are not large scale differences in vote counts for the two candidates in many of these states where the difference was around 1% so large scale fraud isn't' necessary to change the result in favor of another candidate. The states owe it to the electorate to make sure that this is done correctly and with transparency or the electorate will not believe them in the future (they really have not gotten off on the best foot in either of those so far). I don't think the President is helping himself in how he is reacting, but the fact is that he has a point (even if he isn't making it very well). The states need to take any fraud allegation seriously and investigate it fully. The media needs to stop ignoring real issues and waving it off by saying this is Trump just being Trump and this isn't really serious fraud. I'm very worried how this is going to play out since we are in uncommon waters right now. There isn't a modern model of how to handle the legal remedy if there are substantiated allegations of fraud when the difference in vote count is so thin. There appears to be some evidence of fraud and if the vote difference is so close the Republicans can make a valid claim that they were injured in this process. I don't know if there will be a reasonable way to determine to what degree they were injured since it will be impossible to quantify how many fraudulent votes were added to the stacks in the process and have now been counted. This could get very ugly very fast all because some influential people are not taking what appear to be valid concerns seriously.

I'm sure they are referencing how much he actually paid after refunds. They sited one year he got a $10 Million refund. That is probably where the zero comes from. Presumably he paid $10M and got a refund of $10M.

Now Trump has gone from "Fake News" to "They illegally obtained my tax returns and reported it with malicious intent". It is starting to sound less "fake", though there is still no hard evidence for the public, except Trumps reversal in defenses.

If he paid $10M and got all of it back as a refund that would indicate that he had zero tax liability for the year. Assuming that he did not do something illegal then the only body liable for someone to have no tax liability is the members of congress that write the laws.

We were discussing this last night and it occurred to me that the report might well be "factually" true, but still a gross misrepresentation of the truth. Knowing the media penchant for taking a morsel of truth and spinning it with a grand headline my betting money is they are reporting the number in the "amount you owe" block on the federal tax form vs the amount of federal tax withheld or paid in quarterly payments throughout the year. I looked at my most recent tax years and that "amount you owe" block is zero for me too and I don't have a team of tax lawyers to help me find ways within the tax code to pull off that miracle. Now there is a number in the "federal income tax withheld" block (that is a lot bigger than I wish it was). I paid the Govt what the IRS says is my legally obligated amount, but if you looked at my tax return you could say "I paid no taxes" because the "amount you owe" line has a zero in it. This is the same for every taxpayer in the US that gets a refund because they had more withheld or overpaid their quarterly payments than the tax code said they owed. The fact that they make the big headline claim without presenting any evidence or disclosing their source indicates to me that 1) they are lying or 2) they are factually correct, but misrepresenting the truth. As y'all say politics suck and this reminds me of those old stories about candidates saying "my opponent is a homo sapien" or some other "factually true" claim just to make a headline. I always knew that we couldn't trust the politicians and their associated pundits, but now we can't even trust the "news" media that is supposed to represent the truth for the American population to make informed decisions.

Check out Green Pea Press (greenpeapress.com) in Huntsville. They do some cool screen print t-shirts and I think they do custom orders. They have a shop in Lowe Mill and another just down the street on Governors. Not too far from you and a local small business that I'm sure would appreciate the business.

My local post office is horrible. We get someone else's mail often. There is a post on the neighborhood FB page everyday from someone letting a neighbor know that they got their mail and our subdivision isn't that big.

The one comment he made at the end about "guys that can't ride motorcycles anymore" was pretty much exactly how I ended up with one. My neighbor and I both had bikes and would go ride together often. His back started giving him problems and the doctor told him that he needed to stay off the bike. One day I was over talking to him in his driveway and I see a fat single rear tire poking out of the garage. He was showing it off to me when my wife wandered over since it was taking me a LONG time to go get the mail. She said something like "that is cool". He tossed me the keys and after a short ride with the wife it was decided that my bikes were moving out and we were getting a sling.

The price point is definitely getting too high. To me it is a great replacement for a touring bike, but a lot more fun. Has good protection from wind / elements, enough storage for a trip, seat that doesn't make your ass numb, radio to listen to, etc just like a bagger. They just need to keep it in that same price range. I know there are some crazy expensive baggers out there, but there are a lot of base touring bikes out there and Polaris should make sure that they still have models in the price range.

I managed to jump my 2018 using a rechargeable battery pack

I have one of those in all my vehicles now and made sure all my kids have one in their car. Saved my daughter in law who left work after midnight a while back and found a dead battery in the middle of an empty parking lot. They take up less room than jumper cables and you don't need to wait for someone else to help you out.

To make that decision to do nothing easier there is case law that police do not have a "duty to protect".

Unless you have engaged you aren't liable for a person's safety.

Sad day when doing nothing is the wisest choice.

I was in the Army a long time ago with a guy that was a former cop in a small Alabama town. He told me a story one night about getting shot at during a domestic violence call. He was pretty new to the force and responded to the call to find the husband beating the crap out of his wife in the front yard. He tackles the guy and is wrestling him to try and get the cuffs on and his wife comes out of the house shooting at him telling them to quit hurting her husband. He found out later from the veterans on the force to wait a bit when called to that house. Apparently they all knew that once the husband was done hitting her he would come along peacefully and she would show up later to bail him out. I couldn't believe it when he told me that story, but self preservation instincts will eventually probably trump their protective instincts.

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. I attempted to enter Ft. Huachuca this morning, as I've done a dozen times before, and I was stopped at the gate and told I could not drive the Sling on base unless I was wearing a helmet, goggles, long-sleeved jacket, gloves, and over-the-ankle boots. When I inquired as to why, the guard said as long as it has a motorcycle license plate, I have to follow motorcycle rules... So much for driving the Sling to work every day... ☹

Know your pain. I have to go onto Redstone Arsenal for my job and encountered this a few times. I just keep a half helmet behind the seat and throw on my rain jacket and gloves that I keep in there for those pop up thunderstorm days. Never gave me a hard time on the boots. You can try the post commander, but the gate guards are likely contractors and are just doing what they have been told to do by Govt. They don't care if the jacket and gloves have a lick of motorcycle armor in them for protection, as long as it covers your arms and fingers fully they let me through.

Senator Kennedy from Louisiana made a great point. When a radical Islam Jihadist blows up a facility filled with innocent people we are told it's racist to assume all people of Islamism are bad. When a rogue police officer commits a horrific crime it's pushed that the whole of the police force is racist. This goes against everything the radicals stand for. What do people stand for? You can't have it both ways.

Someone had a great post the other day that said they were talking to someone that was a teacher who made a comment that all cops are racist. Their reply was something like all teachers are pedophiles using the same logic. Broad judgments against any group of people is prejudice and it amazes me that some of the people that speak out the loudest against prejudice are very quick to apply it in their own view points.

My dealer quit selling them. Vanderhall would not stand behind their product "BUYER BE WARE"

Yep, I tell her the same thing every time she walks over to them in the showroom. For all the recalls, etc that Polaris has had on slingshots I still think they have a pretty decent platform under that body work.

My local dealer sells both slingshots and vanderhalls so I get to see both of them up close when I drop by the shop. I really like the look of the vanderhalls and their interior fit and finish is much nicer looking than my sling. If you compare the interior and front of the vanderhall to a shelby cobra it is easy to see where they got their inspiration. The vanderhalls are just too small for me (6'2" and 220lbs) with questionable reliability and power (as shared by some of the shops that have dealt with them). My wife looks at the Vandehalls every time we drop by the shop and LOVES how they look (she is into the shelby cobra retro vibe that they give off). I'm waiting for the day that I get home from work and she has bought one for herself. I don't dislike the angular body of the SS, but if Polaris had one with more flowing body lines and a less utilitarian interior it would be in my garage the next day.

I’m with ya - if there is one prosecution on the anti Trump side the whole house of cards may come falling down - major players will do everything in their power to see that never happens. I just wonder - if Biden were to win - will the Republicans go after him with the same vigor the Democrats went after Trump? Probably not - we will just sit back and swallow it like we did with Obama!

I'm not so sure. The political environment has degraded significantly between the parties. There is nothing civil between them any longer. I remember the republicans clearly saying that the democrats shouldn't pursue their efforts with President Trump because eventually there will be another democrat in the office and the republicans would treat them the same way. Many will see it as their obligation to follow through with that threat and possible that a large enough group in their base will demand it from them. I believe that both sides have discovered that going after the sitting president of the other party is a great way to energize your base and I'm afraid they will see this a the new normal moving forward.

One of the reasons I have held off on installing a cat-delete pipe is a fear that it will cause unwanted fumes/smells - - heck even with no top and OEM double bubble windshields I still get exhaust smells every now and then - and I am not sure they are even from my slingshot with the other traffic that is around - - - - I much prefer it on my early morning drive into the office when I pass local restaurants and get hit with the smell of bacon cooking

from what I have seen the power gains to be had just dont seem worth the potential smells =O

I seem to remember one of the shops posted a pretty detailed assessment of the stock and common performance upgrades and I remember that they said that the stock CAT was actually pretty good in terms of flow. I only remember because at that time I was getting ready to buy a header and a CAT delete and instead just did the header.

I'm 6'2" and have a F4+5. I look just over the top of it. Can slide down a bit in the seat and look through if I needed to. My wife is 5'3" and no complaints looking through. I will say that the F4s do distort where they bend at the corners, but I hardly ever look at that piece of the road. Have baker air wings and they move a lot of air onto you when it gets hot, but pretty stable air without them with the +5 screen.
