It's a weak link that will surely be exploited if not already just waiting to happen. Imagine what we don't know! It could be greatly mitigated if we simply put a controlled process in place. No one has ever said no immigration. Can't turn it back after the fact. Most likely these numbers are much higher as this article has numbers a few months back.

My hope is, and I know it's a long shot. If Trump runs, he totally drops any reference to previous elections. Focus solely on his accomplishments, inflation, crime, drugs, boarder control, world conditions, his vision for America & America first. If he can do that, I don't think he could lose.

I have constant red lights for any 50 mile radius. Many times, it takes two light changes to get through. No escape. Even outside of the congestion it's still red lights. Stock I got 27.5 and with the supercharger de-tuned running a stock exhaust it's about 23.8.

My brake failure light came on again today. I tested the moisture in the fluid it showed as 4% (highest on the scale). Thinking possibly the moisture is vaporizing in the system. The speed bleeders above are correct for a 2017 SL. I installed them on all three calipers, suctioned the master cylinder and filled with fresh fluid then pushed through 24 oz of fresh fluid while bleeding the system. Rear first, right front second then Left front last. I love speed bleeders! Brakes feel rock solid! I didn't realize they were a bit mushy till I did the bleed. Took a test ride, all is good. Have been on multiple short rides just about every day since the brake fluid flush. Many in hot weather, when typically the brake light would come on. I'm optimistic that water vaper in the old fluid may have been the cause. Can't/don't want to say for sure but so far all is good. Hope I didn't jinx myself!

To the driving range to hit some golf balls. Haven't played a game of golf in about 17 years. It's still as frustrating! Driving range in the opposite direction as the sun wouldn't allow a good picture in the other direction.

The border issue has been there my whole life. I lived in Yuma, AZ in the 70's and the problem was the same as it is now. I would really like to see our country function without "migrants". Look around, who picks the lettuce, who paves the roads, who puts roofs on houses, who cooks in restaurants, who cleans, an on an on...

We have created these problems with our own greed and corruption. There would not be a drug problem if Americans did not use drugs. There would not be a human trafficking problem if people did not participate in that, crime, ha ha I would take one back to the era of gangsters... I could keep going on but really I guess my soapbox is starting to sag from the weight of my thoughts.

Agree somewhat but what worries me is the drastic total shift in the basic working of the economy as opposed to a shift in which the economy can handle. Thats the difference from the 80s or even the Obama administration. I suppose as a society we are addicted to spending but what happens when for some people that 3rd and forth credit card max out? Socialism and collectivism only work for those who contribute less, for all others, just work more and get less. Thats where we seem to be heading.

My older brother's life ended at 51. Shoulder pain got prescribed pain killers. Then cut off, turned to alternate sources and got a bad batch. Within a two block area in my neighborhood, I know of two young adults that have OD and died. Massive amounts of fentanyl crossing the border. Very bad stuff.

I could go on and on also. Sure these elements have been in place, and we will never eliminate them. I'm just worried that the attitude bad people are only bad because society has made them into who they are is replacing the ideals of individual hard work and smart decisions will put a person on a path to success.

Time will tell, I wish I had more reason to feel confident about are direction.

Perhaps for many it comes down to republican vs democrat and some other issues. I calculated my retirement ultra conservative. 2% till 100 years old and I can sit outside in the morning, drink a cup of coffee watching the birds. I enjoy that and I do. At 4% I can ride my slingshot, ride my motorcycle, buy some aftermarket stuff and hopefully as/if the slingshot/motorcycle wears out I have confidence I can cover the costs and purchase a new ride and finish out life in a good fun way.

Never about R vs. D or other, but direction and performance. These are the funds managed by BlackRock under the current administration and their performance year to date. I don't have the luxury that Pelosi has. Pick an equivalent to an ETF and it's what you get. It's my life, my retirement. It's failing very badly! Given these numbers combined with inflation, crime, boarder issues, drug and human trafficking. Yeah, you can't possibly compare this with an offensive tweet, that's too much to handle.

I like it. That surely wouldn't give the Democratic party much room to squirm. I'm not a trump only kind of person and I'm not focusing on the past election although it must be secure for everyone's sake. It's that simple. On the flip side if it came to it I would be comfortable with a Tulsi Gabbard and Joe Machin ticket, wouldn't lose any sleep but that's not going to happen, the media and party would rip them apart.

The next federal reserve meeting is scheduled for next week, 26 & 27th. I'm guessing a rate hike of .75 to 1. Thinking it's going up now and gearing for a big sell of just before the fed res meeting. Not taking the bate today but I may jump into a more aggressive stance after the next big sell off. How much lower can it go?

Let's not forget the media. The media is just as corrupt if not more so than the politicians themselves and they have the power to influence massive numbers of the country. It's an opinion, my opinion is at least 95% are in cahoots' with the democratic party. President Trump could have been the best president we ever had but the media was relentless with constant attacks. No single person could have stayed focused under the constant attacks as well as he did. I'm sure some will disagree, but many will agree. So, I pose this question, is it proper to let the media win it's game and dictate who we should vote for? i.e. don't vote for someone due to outside influences beyond his control. Or Is it better to choose the person based on performance and talking points?

I'm struggling with decisions going forward but I hate to not pick the person I believe in, not because of the person or their performance but to let the media divide the country and destroy the person is a bad direction for the country to head in.
