Battery's are Mysterious Black Box's.......Some only last 6 months before giving up the Ghost , But then some will go 8+ years or more...... Me' I will change them [After making sure the battery is in fact bad] The first time it gives me trouble starting a machine..

I know I'm gonna get crap out of this but here goes. 8 out of 10 was 80% when I went to school, did something change again and slept through it?

    LC

Like when the Wife sends me out to a store to get something and there are two similar items to choose from.....So theres a 50/50 chance i'll bring back the right one......

    And a 90% chance i'm wrong...=O.....

I lived in Kissimmee from 1984 until late 2005. Every storm, they would show clips of people buying every sheet of plywood they could pile on top of a Honda civic. I'm sure you have seen them this time around.

My question now, as then, is WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DO WITH THE PLYWOOD THEY BOUGHT THE LAST TIME?????

They ground it up and put it in their breakfast cereal..:)

    ;)

IMHO stupid people do stupid things regardless of what anyone says or shows them, for example it doesn't matter how many commercials I see of people jumping in front of a bus, I am not going to go out and try it....the same logic would apply to other people with common sense and sensational ads like the slingshot.

Your comment is as antiquated and erroneous as the one that video games are to blame for mass shootings if you want to blame anything blame our society current mentality that "everyone is a winner" which doesn't prepare people for real life and the many failures that they will encounter which then make them snap.

But the advertisements are made/directed to/for the people without common sense...Or border line stupid...

Not saying he did or didn’t but, how could he lay down strapped in with a harness and helmet and Han device? Don't their harnesses come up between your legs and over your shoulders? The safest place to be in that type of crash is strapped into the cage. If he loosened everything to lay down he committed suicide. There have been drivers violently roll vehicles wheels to wheels and end for end many times and walk away because they were strapped in. That just sounds very odd to me.

That said, I went off the road on my bike heading toward trees and I closed my eyes and let go of the handlebars to cover my head with a helmet on. Could I have steered the bike around them? I think I was already out of control when I let go. I survived.....might have been a very good decision. I woke up at the bottom of a big tree. My head was inches from the trunk....I must have took a pretty big hit because I blacked out...don’t know if I hit the tree and bounced back or stopped short. My face hit something because I had a bloody nose. No full face or chin guard. Maybe my arms hit my nose. It’s funny what you think about in those few life or death seconds....I just remember saying cover your head and hope it works. That could have been my last thoughts...being able to walk away even banged up is a good thing.

The ''Lack'' of him using the Han.......Was a contributing reason he broke his neck....

And I just had someone stop in the middle of their left turn in front of me coming from my right to gawk, half blocking my lane and completely blocking the cars in the lane coming from my left who could no longer see me. Not always a good thing...

Its called Target Fixation.......Thats why nimrods will run into the back of School buses , Police cars , And 18 wheelers that are parked on the side of a hi way.. The more lights the more the nimrods will be confused/ fixated and then run into you...

IF a Federal Autocycle Law were to be enacted AND IF the Slingshot were to be included under it's classification, I'd guess Polaris would most likely drop production due to the impacts of compliance on production costs and reduced sellabilty due to loss of a lot of the factors that make the Slingshot so much fun to drive. This might also increase the value of existing Slingshots!

I had a Victory.....Didn't happen with that Polaris .....Don't think it will happen with this Polaris...

I read a story about a guy going to a bank in NYC and asking for a $5000 loan for an upcoming cruise, offering his brand new Ferrarri as collateral. He took the money and went of the cruise. When he got back he paid off the loan including around $30 interest. People thought he was not smart using such an expensive vehicle as collateral, but he told them he couldn't find cheaper more secure parking for less than the $30 he paid in interest!

    Deja Vu...............Post #4..........

Imagine how many more you could have seen if you had the FASTER RED one

Rocket science weekly in conjunction with the University of Ohio, At the Sandusky campus did a wind tunnel test on paint colors...And they found that...

Red is Not a color its a layer of pigment [Red] that absorbs sunlight with causes a molecular level of drag resulting in a negative slowdown effect though ambient and non ambient air, Which will limit acceleration and consume more fuel ...Which in turn is contributing to climate change..

The helmet law will only come in affect if you are stoped for doing something stupid..

Like speeding or weaving in or out....ETC.. ...Yes they might remind you about the law, But wont ticket you.....
