Campagna Motors is still totally out of the question being over 2,000 miles away.

from all the searching I’ve done looking for an exact specially coated shoulder bolt/screw....polaris has the lock on it and they aren’t cheap....
Search the different polaris OEM part sites to find the cheapest ones....expect to pay at least $3 each....
I’ve had several disappear ...vibrated out....blue locktite
Polaris and Harley and a few other manufacturers special coating is a wax type locktite usually a cream/lite yellow color....

I just found this thread in the search data. I twisted a T 40 bolt off that goes to my side panel on the inside. From what I read here we could go to the dealership or replace with another bolt. Has anybody found whee you could order on line or anything?
Tractor supply , Home Depo ....ACE Hardware .......ETC......

Around my neck of the woods there are a lot of country raised kids that know how to drive a standard transmission. Possibly the more densely populated city areas that don't know what a farm is can't drive standard but most farm kids grew up knowing this.
Very few farm kids will have/want to spend 30K on a toy that they can't ride on a farm...The Automatic will attract Nimrods......Get ready for more pictures of Slingshot's in ditches.......

I'm 6'2 and use the slingshade. I am fine with it. I do lean a little at stop lights though lol.
I guess everyone sits a little different, I'm 5'11 and if i stop too close to a stop light the only way i can tell when the light turns green is when the guy behind me starts blowing his horn...And on the rare occasion that i wear a helmet, It has to be a beanie........

As much as I like the look of the cloth top I feel that since I’m over 6ft I need something with a flip top.

Over 6ft..........Don't even think about the Silngshade....

Personally I find that a 12 inch sub is just a bit too much - I always end up with leftovers ———- Oh - never mind 🙄

Then get the 12 inch from Subway.........They are 11 inches....

To tell the truth if Polaris 86 the SS it wouldn't bother me...I went though that with my Victory...
Life gos on...We will all survive and move on to other over priced un-necessary toys......
-
The only SS Dealer that was close to me was 25 miles, Gave them up this summer..Now i have to travel 80 miles one way. His biggest complaint was the price increase and they take up too much space in the showroom and service area ......And as soon as the weather cools down they can't sell any......He also said that if they would only put a heater in them like some of Polaris's side by sides he might have kept the franchise ...?

God I'm glad I don't have to live my life worrying about getting bad gas
Only problem I have with estimated mileage that is left, once the display gas gauge starts blinking you can't see or toggle to what mileage is left
At that point, Stop and get gas...........

He is just raising the flag to see who salutes it.......

Brain fart - I was thinking JRI - sorry. JRI shocks you have to switch the upper and lower bushings to install the rear shock so the adjustment is on the outside or the bottom by the swingarm.
Correct......

The rubber gasket in my cap fell apart over a year ago - it has worked just fine without it.
With my California slingshot having a vent system on the gas tank with a carbon filter canister I am probably breaking some law by not having the tank sealed, but WTF
That gasket has been known to cause cancer in the State Of California.........
-
So when i went to get gas in the sling to put it away for the season I forgot my gas cap.......... I am looking to buy one from DDM but those don't come with a gasket so I need to buy one.
Anyone has the part number for the gasket or knows a part number for a generic gas cap that I can get at a part store.
Thanks in advance.Lowe's.......In the lawn mower Aisle........Arnold gas cap.....Universal; 2-1/8'' diameter.. 5 dollars

I like this forum also but read the other one as well. I had no trouble navigating the other when it changed formats. It does have a handy button for new posts since last visit so I don't keep rereading threads. I think a problem for all of us is that attendance has fallen off. Wondering if that is symptomatic of falling sales? And a decrease of vendors?
Having been a former Can Am Spyder owner, I read that forum as well. It still seems very active which I believe has to do with BRP introducing new varieties of trikes. My buddy still rides his so we go to rallies for both.I haven't seen you on Trike-Talk in a while...?

I can never figure how to set the time....So what i do is keep two Slings....One for riding during DST....And the other for EST........
-
First you have to find a Harley dealer that even wants it.
Put it on Craigslist and sell it yourself. You’ll get more money.
They don't have to want it....The'll just wholesale it out,,,

Just recently i was offered 16k for my 18 Sl with the slingshade.. with just under 10k miles, But that was for a trade on a new 2020 $38k Tri-Glide... Not interested in selling, I was just kicking tires..

Mine will not auto click off it stays one. I never had any issues until I had my steering wheel changed out at a meet. I been told nothing they did would effect it not clicking off. Hmmmmm
