To get rid of the CEL you can just disconnect the battery for 10-15min and that will clear the code. I just did the same thing last week. I had my intake manifold off and forgot to plug in the TB when I was finished. Mine was a little pissed off until I cleared the code.

The block fitting is 12mm x 1.75. Your oil pressure sensor is likely 1/8" NPT. You could use Auto Meter 2278 to convert over the block. You can stick the engine oil pressure sensor in the back of the head. I THINK it's about 10psi lower pressure there but it is enough to keep the idiot light happy.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to send me birthday wishes. Much appreciated. It’s been a pretty chill day. Sadly no riding for me this weekend. In stalling a couple prototype parts and it’s too cold to ride here anyway. Blessing of the bikes is next weekend so fingers crossed the projected rain will turn into sun. Tonight I’m just having some friends over for a dinner party and tomorrow spending Mother’s Day with the family. Hope you all have a great weekend.

While I think it could be smaller, it's not as big as my Nissan fob, my Ford truck key or the Polaris default key.

Oh that's not bad at all. I saw that frisby sized looking pic online and just thought man I wouldn't want that in my pocket. I'll have to look into this.

I know that you are not happy about all of this Kyle D but personally I have been impressed with how you have stepped up to the plate to make things right - Easy to be a good vendor when everything goes right, but what you do when they dont go right is what separates the good vendors from the great vendors -

Thank you very much. We’re pretty awesome most of the time. Proves we are still human I guess. It’s been a huge learning experience to say the least.

Well, again, I would like to get out in front of this total shit show of a product failure on my end. I just got an email from a guy that said he only received 1 bolt in his package. I thought this HAS to be a shipping error so I pulled up all the other invoices and sure enough, each person was only sent 1 bolt. Now, while I COULD blame my assistant for not correctly making invoices with the proper amount of replacement parts, ultimately this falls on me for not double checking the work. So, I would like to apologize again, and let you know I am aware of the problem and the other bolt you are all short is on the way leaving today. Again my apologies. :00008862:

is that a bandaid on the valve or some coating I'm not aware of?

That is a band aid. I sent that to my friend saying I think we fixed it and just need a little lapping compound.

Band-Aid not gonna help too much. What the hell was he thinking? Is he boosted?

Rob the Slob I shit you not this is the 2nd time he's done this. Did the SAME THING last year. Last year he smoked the engine and wasn't as luck as this time. He owns a 2012 Buick Regal GS. It's the fastest in the US if not the world pushing about 515whp.

We have only 91 octane around here.

Does anyone use "octane boosters" or other additives?

You're fine on 91. Especially in NA trim. Using any additives is going to be really expensive over time and there will be no gains compared to running 91.

Previously in this thread we had talked about getting/using shitty gas. So a friend of mine, whom shall rename nameless, calls me and says “I think I hurt my car.” He goes on to tell me that he was on his way home and low on fuel. And instead of stopping at one of the million “brand name” stations in his area, he goes to Joe Bob’s discount non national shit station making mistake #1. He “Put in just enough gas to get home” and goes on his merry way.

On his way home, he can’t resist doing a roll race on the highway with a C7 Corvette with a nearly empty tank making mistake #2. Walks away from the Corvette but “something didn’t feel right.” He gets off the highway and lets it cool down. He proceeds to get BACK ON THE HIGHWAY to do another pull, just to make sure something was wrong, making him a 3 time loser and his car starts running like it’s on 3 cylinders. And THIS my friends is one of the outcomes from buying low octane shitty discount fuel.

Kyle D do you have the option of having your piping coated to a custom color like blue or red?

Unfortunately, we do not for a few reasons. It's hard to get an exact match for color with powder against paint.

If we did offer custom colors, it would have to be a made to order type of deal as we are just not a large enough company to be able to have every color in stock hanging around without it mattering if they sell or not. This would add at least 1-2 weeks to get a kit out as we do not do the powder coating in house. And so far in my experience, when someone orders a turbo kit, they want it yesterday and do not want to wait.

Finally, wrinkle black has been our "thing" since 2000 when we started business. It's part of our branding and what makes ZZP recognizable. Now could you have them recoated or repainted once you got them? Yes 110% and my feelings won't be hurt. If you have any other questions please let me know.

If anyone has the Polaris trailering cover and is going to be in Maggie Valley next month, I sure would like to see if it fits my slingshot with the Fab Factory top. Polaris says no, and the local dealer didn't want to open a box to let me try it on. Too much work for them to make a sale I guess ;(;(;(. Hate to spend almost $500 and find out that it doesn't fit. Same request here. If it does fit and anyone has one they want to sell (after EJ gets his). I'd be a buyer

I'll have one in Maggie. You're more than welcome to test fit it to your Sling.

On another note what is the chances of getting a group buy on a stock pile of rear tires for our slingshots?

LOL man if you can find one let me know!!!!! I'll go in also!!!! We need to find a company that will sponsor a Slingshot burnout contest and just deliver a semi trailer full of tires. I've been trying to get Micky Thompson to give me tires for a couple years. I'm not sure why but apparently, Slingshot 1/2 mile racing and rolling burnouts aren't high on their list for support. LOL
