Just tripped 7000 today. Also got a new Check Engine Code......
Check engine pops up for all kinds of silly reasons....Play the radio with key in
accessory and the code may pop up. Last Spring I had 7 or 8 codes for playing the radio to long in accessory!!!!!!!!!! Code usually goes off the next time you cycle the modes... -
Anyone topped @EjFord
Fun, I sure somebody has more --- 2015 had 16,901 when traded for the 2016 which now has 10,350 miles Not bad for Northern Indiana from Feb 2015 to Apr 2016.
I just like to ride...work gets in the way a little, but I do need LOTS of gas money.
Mod money not so much. -
@rabtech, You may never have time to ride again --- the way this is going....
-
Rab, Sorry I had to do a little computer work for my business so I missed your
'roll call' by about 10 min. I'm very glad I got here. -
I found one pretty egg and clicked on it before the rabbit ate it.....my computer didn't even crash.
-
I hang around to learn lots of good stuff and for me more importantly is to
promote 'Ride for Kids' events which support the Pediatric Brain Tumor
Foundation. So I will check into the 'other side' from time to time.
been pretty quite over there. -
I just saw a SS locally ( Denton,Texas) and have been doing research since then. I registered on another form a couple weeks ago put haven't been approved yet. I guess they have slow admins, or not enough of them.... I found a link on the same forum to this one. I will most likely be a lurker for awhile, until I can learn what model I want. But thanks for the quick registering!!
Shaun, Good place to learn a lot, Lots of fun, and lots of great people willing to share there ideas and experiences. Put the word out that you might be willing to buy pie & coffee and somebody in your area might stop by and take you for a ride. I would but --- about 1,000 miles one way. Did have a guy follow me home ---took him for a 20 min ride. He's ready to give up the Vette for a Slingshot.
-
Sure everyone leaves and doesn't tell me shit!
Glad I found you guy's forum looks great.Get Rabtech and Kenny H moving and things happen very fast ---- kinda hard for anybody to keep up.
-
That's a for sure!!!!
Bill are you staying at Jonathan Creek? I will be coming in on Tue. Going to room with BlackDeath. More coin for the gas 'mods' for going the miles.
-

2016 N.C. Triangle Ride for Kids
Jordan Lake State Recreation Area; White Oak Recreation Area
White Oak Beach Road, off US Hwy 64
Apex, NC 27523http://pbtf.convio.net/site/TR…623&pg=entry#.VxPjXY-cG1s
The 'Ride for Kids' events support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. This is a police escorted ride which
young brain tumor survivors and siblings and parents come out to the Ride and ride with us. Want see a SMILE---just put a young person in your Slingshot for a short "parking lot" ride or the full escorted ride. Kids and Parents will all be smiling. Hope lots of Slings from NC can make it. We had 10 Slingshots at the South Carolina ride on 10 Apr 2016---Great Day. -
Took me a little while and some help to figure out how to put my location under the avatar....that lets people see pretty quickly where I'm located. About as far North in Indiana as you can get. If you going east/west on I90/80 or I94 your with in a couple miles of me. Say 'Hello' and we can meet for coffee.
-
The wife and I cruising.. Her first ride!
Bones --- Wife and Slingshot look like keepers......

Was off line last weekend when it all happened. Just doing what I love to do --- a short
1800+ mile 4 day weekend ride. Had a great time with the weekend in South Carolina and meeting face to face some great people. Friends knew I was off track brought be back to a safe place as soon as I got back on line. Takes me a little time to get back in the swing of things with new stuff. -
Lots of fun, lots to learn and lots of great people here willing to share.
Ride safe. -
Again a big Thanks @ivor for selecting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation as the major charity choice for your events this year. We had
10 Slingshots at the South Carolina Ride for Kids on 10 Apr 2016...Lots of Smiles. -
