There's a video floating round here somewhere that I posted of us riding beside larry on the 4 lane between Decatur and Huntsville. We were running 65mph or so and both the flags he had mounted at the back of his rear deck were flying toward the cockpit. Proof of the huge backdraft toward the cockpit of the Sling from the rear. There are as many solutions as there are different setups. Each one is different and requires a different approach.

Interesting OEM set up and NO fums.....

Your not suggesting a lawyer would attempt to make money off the virus are ya ??:00008172:Just watch the flood of litigation to come !!

The legal team at Sherwin Williams is training store staff so they don't pass out any C-19 and get the company in trouble.

It's been a long time since I've been on the forum but this issue just started on my slingshot. I was driving down the freeway and all of the sudden my instrument cluster and radio shut off then immediately came back on. I didn't think it was a big deal until last week I went out to eat and when I tried to go home my slingshot would start but no lights, radio and instrument cluster. I called Dangerdarell and he ask me if I had the recall done. I decided not to drive it home so I left it at the resturant. The next morning it started and everything worked . I don't remember getting a notification about it, so i thought everything was up-to-date. After researching the issue I called my dealer, they are backed up for three weeks and they don't have the parts to fix it. I'm in a fix because right now my slingshot is my primary vehicle. I think I'm going fix it myself by replacing the three fuses.

If you remember Eureka Springs Sept 2015 .... I had the newest Slingshot there. This is the problem that 'cooked' the fuse box and replaced the 2015 fuse box with a 2016 fuse box ---it came with the new Slingshot rapped around it. The way it's set up, if the fuse box is bad it's a complete rewire.

Ok, I read all 7 pages of this and realized there were no dumb questions asked. So, I feel it is time for the "dumb question". I'm looking at a new 2019 in a short while. Will this problem be on the 2019s also? I have nowhere to work on my vehicle as I live in a one bedroom apartment. What do the dealers want to replace that bearing with another factory set up? I would hopefully just take it to the dealer, but I'm hoping it is not a $1000 repair.

One of the things that some of us did who are not real handy in the 'shop' was to buy the extended warrantee. Dealers have 'room to play' with the price. 2 yr to start and if you buy the extended 3 yr that gives you 5yrs. If you going to drive this fun machine a lot might be the right way to go.

I searched for this problem but could not find it. I have a 2015 with a 1320 header & muffler (no cat), stock windshield, and baker wings. Yesterday I installed Baker windshield deflectors (on the top of the windshield, after we both got bees in the face). I loved the quiet, less air, etc. BUT, we both immediately noticed a lot of exhaust in the cockpit, at any speed. Anyone else have this problem and hopefully a cure? I really don't want a rear exhaust, no matter how careful I am there are some driveway and parking lot curbs it's almost impossible not to scrape a little.

I am running a 2016 Slingshot --- OEM exhaust system. I have run a F4 tinted 5+ Windshield with Baker 'Air Wings' Side mount for 85,000+ miles. NO exhaust problems. I also and funneling fresh air into the cockpit on both side and well as with the Baker 'Air Wings. (No top).

The taller windshield will well with the 'bees' and such.

Aw, come on EJ! How can you NOT spoil them?!?!

Georgia has been a little sad that she has not been able to 'spoil' the youngest Great Grand Son who be a year one shortly. Up in Kenosha, WI and all this stuff going on!

A HUGE shoutout to av8ingtom for his assistance on my recent trip to VA to take care of my Dad’s estate. Tom is a class act. He picked me up at the Norfolk airport & drove me to my Dad’s place in Newport News. He brought a new battery for my Dad’s car & refused to let me pay for it. He also brought an air compressor to top off the tires. These acts were essential to my success there. V-SHOT sorry I didn’t get to see you too. Tom - again, eternal thanks!!!

Below is a recent pic of my 2 granddaughters (1 girl from each of my daughters) in their favorite ride... :00009320:
