Be wary of ordering this axle nut cover from All Things Chrome. It's a nice product, but doesn't even come close to fitting over the axle nut of my '19 SLR. On top of that, It'll cost me $5 to return it.

I Chicago they vote in person ---- also early & often.
Has Ej asked to come on one of these school trips yet?
I was about to tell Doc that Georgia and I had dinner in Eureka Springs Thur evening with Darrel and Patti --- We were in Branson for a week of R&R. Now you want to to let all the young ladies sit in my Slingshot.
Hey EjFord - So you really like the master cylinder brace? My brakes are mushy and I thought I just needed to bleed them. As a matter of fact I think I will hit up Amazon for a bleeding kit now.
Just got back from a little vacation time with the wife in Branson, MO. (Sat 17 Oct 5:30) My breaks were never as soft as lots --- lucky --- but we put the brace on three years ago in Maggie Valley---- FunCycle did the work bought the brace from DDM and stole his tools to install. Was a good move. I have 80,000+ miles on this Slingshot and still have over 60% on the OEM breaks. I up/down shift more than use the breaks.
Steve welcome to the "World of Slingshot Insanity"
We were on a trip to Charlotte NC to see the Nascar race last weekend. Dropped by the Polaris dealer and walked out with the Grand Touring. Since we were in the motorhome, the wife drove it 550 miles back home. Guess we need an oil change.
Probably the only time you will get to drive it is when it needs gas or an oil change...rest of the time you willbe riding 'bitich'............
In Branson at the moment and picked up some for @Bu11shi1 this morning ... will probably pick up some for my self before I head home.
WOLF looks like he takes go care of Sterling...
The 'OutLaws' are coming for Steve
Have a Great Day airoutlaw
Thank you to the original poster. Got my finger on the trigger and taking it all in for a till the end of the month.
Tim better touch base soon with Dave@DDMWorks he will be booked up before you know it.
First time you do it it takes a few minutes --- but a lot faster than pulling the radio and the next time you want to change things it go real fast.
Will you be hauling your sling? Post when you get to PA. If it's not to cold perhaps we could all hook up for a river run?
Frank you should try to meet up with Bill & Dieter and there BETTER HALF's even if it's driving up by car. Good people.
Got lost on the way to the grocery store...
Don't every buy 'ice cream' to take home when out in the Slingshot.
Display MoreI will have a far from perfect situation this winter as I will be staying in Leavenworth, Washington where temps stay below freezing for days at a time. The apartment with garage I will be moving into won't be finished until May so the Sling will be outside at the RV park.
I have the original battery so I'll disconnect it and replace it next spring. I have the trailer cover.
What else do I need to do with these low temperatures?
Thanks in advance!
Anita just be sure to check the water/antifreeze to make sure it's set for cold temps. I understand that mice hate 'Irish Spring' soap so put a bar of it under the hood and in the cock pit.

just got back from dealer, slingshots been there for 3 weeks. When I took it in, I told them I thought that camber might be the problem, because I had put a big level on side of tire and it seemed to me to be way off. They said, never had that problem, no adjustment to fix that. I showed him where their were shims that was there for something. New guy I talked to today read the mechanics report, excessive camber alignment problem. Said they were Waiting on parts. I ask what parts, SHIMS. Said each wheel was almost an inch off.
Most of the Slingshots have needed a good laser alignment for really good tire ware and driving. Never heard of one being off that much. Almost sounds like something has been seriously bent during or after manufacturing. Tagging FunCycle --- your thoughts.
Good morning, we took a lil adventure with the Grasshopper recently and while touring down the road it suddenly dawned on me on just how comfortable the SlingShot has become. The type of comfort that comes with trust and dependability. Having owned our Slingshot since early 2015, and having gone through all the early trials, tribulations, recalls and such, working out the bugs that typically come with the purchasing, and learning about, a newly concepted machine, there has been a natural underlying sense of apprehension when ever we took the SlingShot on longer rides. But this time while cruising the two-lane and back country roads, admiring the scenery, I became aware that I was actually just sitting back and enjoying the ride, that apprehension is now gone. The major issues that plagued the SlingShot initially have been rectified, I now know how to keep the drive system quieter, as well as dealing with other maintenance irregularities that come from owing a non-conforming tricycle. The Grasshopper has become a trusted member of the family with the promise of many future adventures.
Well, I just thought that I would just share this lil moment of revelation.
Bill
Bill how many miles do you have on the Grasshopper?
alight guys I would ;like your honest opinion on this. I have been wanting a supercharger for some time now, but I have went over my trackhamr budget lol, no big deal.. So I wanted some advice or input on which way I should go. since you all have supercharges and turbos. I will not be doing any racing or anything like that. I just want a little extra pep on the highway when I need it, like passing cars and stuff. or getting out of the way of a crazy driver. I know Dave@DDMWorks has a stage 1 turbo that is not priced to bad in my opinion. It is my understanding that the supercharger has the power all time, and the turbo kicks in at a certain rpm, am I even in the ball park on this. and since you guys have these and know what I am looking for, just a little extra pep, from time to time, plus love the blowoff sound it makes lol. so would turbo, supercharger, or even a bob's tune be the way to go. I would just like you guys opinion please, and thanks
Will you need to add these when passing stuff????
