Sure would be awesome to see you and Luann in Huntsville Rob!!!
Rho can't make it, I'll have an open seat for my Blue Fire brother if ya feel up to it.
Late to the party...
Pretty sure he can do about anything ya want.
Mitch RevDynamics has a large selection and he'll do ya right.
For the people that have been to Maggie before, do they enforce the helmet law there???
Do we have to wear one all the time.
From my experience they don't mess with ya in NC. I believe they're in the process or they already have eliminated helmet requirement.
We'll carry ours with. Was stopped in Tennessee last year, officer just issued us warnings. Didn't have top on that day, wife and I were polite and respectful, officer was in return, really nice guy! If we get lit up for no helmet again and warning is in the computer, prolly gonna get a ticket. More than likely next time we'll have our MS topper on, so I'll play that card.
The driver and passenger of an autocycle must wear helmets UNLESS the autocycle is completely surrounded. [TCA 55-9-302 (b)(2)]
John Price this is exactly what the officer told us.
Welcome SlangShot7 . The folks on here will certainly help you spend your money.
We have some GREAT vendors on the forum, be sure to check them out!
You, Luann and the family continue to be in our thoughts and prayers Rob.
We'll keep everyone in our prayers Dieter.
I have the F107N and when I first installed it, the valve was oriented in a vertical position. After replacing my oil pan with one modified to accommodate the turbo oil return drain line, when I reinstalled the F107N, the valve was upside down. The upside down position now bugs me, so I'm thinking about replacing it with the F107SX since the valve can be easily adjusted. Just have to figure out if it's worth the cost to replace a functional unit.
That's why I went with the F107SX, I knew with my luck it would end up in any position except the one I wanted.
Installed Fumoto valve this morning, Put a rubber grommet had laying around over end to keep dirt and such out.
Had Phil install mine at Eureka last fall, talked to him about some for my Corbin Bags, looks like gonna have to wait awhile for that.
I keep the top part greased (2nd pic), they work great! I'm with ya wokka, no way I was drilling into hood and have an oops moment. I know my limitations.
Like Brent said, someone at Maggie with some experience installing them will help ya out.
Bought the same setup W3JNP, looks good!
Like the way it allows you to position valve where you choose. Trade off... smaller diameter, longer to drain oil, wasn't a big deal for me. Will install this puppy next oil change which should be one day next week.
Staphory you may want to look into one of these, less than $5 bucks a stitch on Amazon. Enjoyed reading your post... thanks for sharing!
Oh and I want gooseman garage.... nice!
Going to miss Rho, but glad to have a riding partner for the trip!
Rho said I could skip out on the wedding, said she doesn't want me to miss out on this! Better do what momma says... I'm booked!
