I don't remember reading anything about battery voltage here. Have you put a meter on the battery to check the voltage? In your 1st post you said you put it on a charger and it's fine but if the voltage drops below 12 and you have the motorcycle battery, you will have issues.

Happy birthday counselor! Keep your roll on!

hey guys where would a kill switch be Wired from? Maybe Rick can find the wire and trace it

Not if that fuse is blown like mine is. Separate issue from the start circuit. Mine went out in the rain one day. Do the headlights come on with the key?
I I would think the hazard lights would work though
-
I haven't tried it and I'm at the coast in my camper this weekend. Mine should be the same as yours I would think.

Correct but if the fob is with the key it could light the start button when the key is turned even though the key is inactivated. If there is a fob, turn the switches on until you find one that activates the gauges then it will start. I put mine on the steering column right in front of the keyhole. Most people use one of the existing switch locations below the stereo.

The digital guard dog could be the answer. Is there a fob with the key? I'm not home at the moment see if my start button lights when the key is turned with it installed.

Do the needles on the tach and speedo sweep all the way to the right then back to zero when the ignition is turned on?

Happy birthday sir!

Maybe you should have told your buddy WHERE you buried it so he could use it
Right on top of his ex-wife.

I thought about it but didn’t want a big propane tank in my yard and they wanted a fortune to bury one in the ground. Didn’t pass my cost/benefit test when I can just haul ass
I buried a 500 gal tank for a buddy's whole house backup generator. I guess I didn't charge enough. I still don't have a fortune...

I would totally do that! But with a helmet. And long pants.

Transformer has been tripped since yesterday and only 3 of us without power. Sh-t Happens
That sucks but it obviously could have been a lot worse. Send me your address and I'll send you some electricity FunCycle . I always keep some extra out in the garage...

Well, I am still waiting to hear a good reason for risking drilling these holes in one's hood?
Bill
Yep. Hundreds of installs for no reason. And it's not a risk. I've never heard of anyone replacing their hood for improperly drilled holes. I could add several reasons but it would be a waste of my time.

I typed out 5 different sentences and deleted them all. I don't have words. Randy, you are the salt of the Earth. Godspeed to you and yours.

The wife had a Mitsubishi Eclipse and, because of it I will never buy another Mitsubishi vehicle. It broke the timing belt before the scheduled replacement and destroyed the motor by pistons impacting valves. I had it rebuilt and it did the same thing 8,000 miles later. I sold it for $600, helped load it on a trailer, and threw rocks at it as it went down the road. 20 years later I'm still pissed!

For those of you that hasn't been here before the shop will do. It's lit there's room. It's nothing like Macaws. Mitch I gotta do this, we are all envious. I told my girlfriend if I ever had to have any dangerous surgery, please don't take me to a hospital, they are too dirty. I want my surgery done in Mitch's shop. Sorry Mitch. I love that place.
Shop envy is a real thing. Use the desire to inspire!
And the hospital is no place for a sick person!

Nothing. Just my sick sense of humor...
Well OK then. I've had my life saved twice so far...
