They already use these engines in some single place helicopters.

Double DAMN! Be glad it didn't strike you.
-
I rode mine to the track and @rabtech trailered his. As long as we didn't break both of them we could still get both bikes home.
Good thinking on you guys.
-
Did you trailer your rides or ride them to the track?

Just wait until your wife burns her thigh on the part of the seat that wasn't fully shaded. Got seat covers the next day!
Wife don't much care to ride.
-
I just fold the seats forward, keeps the sun of of it and it don't cost a dime.

Where in the hell is the video?

Most upholster's would take the old cover off and use that as the pattern.

I use Rotella T6 in my engine and Redline Shockproof in the rear angle drive. Pre turbo, I used Mobile1 in the engine.
Engine oil gets changed every 2,500 miles religiously. To each his own on that one. I once watched a pre race interview with some race car drivers. They were all asked the same question. The ones who were sponsored by oil company's all said the oil change should happen every 3000 miles. The ones who were not sponsored by big oil all said they changed their oil every 5 to 6 thousand miles. The only losers in that interview were the ones who had to lie to keep their sponsorship.

My dealer has a sign saying all vehicles must be dropped off...no waiting for service....meaning you just can’t drive in and get something fixed.....mine spent more time outside their garage (days) than inside...
Kinda makes you wonder why?
Not enough people that know what to Do?
Something To Hide?
Can’t predict how much time it will take to make the repairs.....
no inventory of spare parts so they wait for them all to come from Polaris...My dealer will let you make an appointment but they keep a lock on the mechanic doors, they don't want anybody back there for any reason. You deal with the service person only.

I use the T1R on the back since it's basically one of two 345/205/20 tires listed
Ghost said he bought one of those and it howled, does yours howl?

I installed mine without changing the oil (I had just recently changed it before I got the fumoto.) I just did a "quick swap". I pulled the old oil drain plug with one hand and quickly installed the fumoto with the other. I did lose a little oil, but it was so little that I didn't even have to add more after the swap.
I also got some oil on my hands and on the outside of the fumoto, but that was easy and quick to clean up.The best part for me is my oil drain pan scoots under the sling without me having to use a jack. Scoot it under turn open the drain lever and I can go change the filter while the oils draining.

I use to see some slings around from time to time but after getting mine I ain't seen but 2.

When installing the new pads into the Slingshot you have to compress the pistons, because as the brake pads wear the pistons push further out. On the front calipers this is a simple procedure of compressing the piston with a big pair of vice grips, C clamp or actual piston compressor. On the back caliper though, because of the parking brake, you have to rotate the piston as you compress it. By rotating the piston it allows the parking brake mechanism to also go back in at the same time basically. There are special tools that allow you to do this, some people use a pair of needle nose pliers in the piston holes to rotate and push at the same time as a cheap alternative also. If you try to just compress the back piston, the piston will not go in properly.
As for the pads, they are the same front and back, you can also play with the Hawk part number to get different pad options. For those that do not know how the hawk pad part number works, here you go -HB275Z.620 is the common ceramic part number for the Slingshot and that part number breaks down like this -
"HB" is for Hawk Brakes
"275" is the pad shape
"Z" is the compound of the brake pad
".620" is the thickness of the padsSo, if you want to check on a different pad material for the same car, you can just change the letter in the part number to any of the other pad compounds available from Hawk and see if they make it -
HB275F.620 is for HPS
HB275B.620 is for 5.0 Pads
HB275N.620 is for HP PLus pads and so on.Hope that helps,
DaveHelps a whole bunch, thanks.

Same pads front and rear ...Remember you will need a tool to turn in/retract the rear piston, do not try and press it in, you can ruin the caliper. The fronts just press in.
....
.
Need more info.

My van was making a mystery rattle noise....needed totally new exhaust system from the headers back...that included the catalytic converters. $1000+ ...the noise was the pieces of the converter media breaking apart ...pieces were to big to shake them out..
catalytic converters are suppose to be guaranteed for life (found this out the hard way) on cars and trucks. Pay first, learn later.

Anytime I feel like one of my post has been deleted/lost/stolen I just go eat a cheeseburger and then everything is OK again. Would someone please ask me if I'd like fries with that?
