I’ve driven the stage 1 and 2 Turbos. I own the DDM supercharger. They are both a ton of fun. I think a better comparison would be the stage 2 turbo vs the supercharger if we are talking price. There are a few upgrades that the stage 2 offers. Both kits are well thought out and look killer. I’m a fan of the supercharger. The power kicks in from start to redline and is very controllable as to @3GunSteve’s point.

I also like the way the blow of valve sounds in the super charger😁

Supercharger all the way! I’ve ran a ddm supercharger for the last 2 years and just recently maxed it out. It’s a lot of fun. I started out with all the NA mods (intake, exhaust, tune, ect...) and really only noticed a slight difference with the NA tune. If you are even contemplating going supercharger, just do it. You’ll end up trying to sell all the NA stuff at a loss.

I'm still in AWE of the things I've seen her do. Better than that, I'm ashamed that I can't do those things that she and Stacy have done with ease. From rewiring their workshop, hanging work lights to the complete tear-down of the Slingshot. Well Correction - I probably COULD do as complete tear-down of a Slingshot, but they can actually put it back together. They coined the phrase "built back better - another line that Old Sleepy Joe stole as being his own You're the best Eica

I have a few touches on my sling from ericastar76 . My wife told her she wanted heated seats and E made a kit for the PRP’s and had it shipped out within a week. The detail in the wiring, relays, switches, ect.. was top notch!

Just got back from a trip to upstate NY. I gave the snow mobiles a try for a few days. I didn’t realize those things where so much fun! I may be adding a new toy to the collection soon.

Always take the horizontal bolt out last. When you go to put the seat back on, start that bolt first. Trust me, I had to take that seat out, once a week for about a month👍

When you order a turbo and you have to just sit and wait for it to get here. Everyday just taking more and more off the SS. Sitting in it in the garage in piece’s making the pshh sound. Wife coming in asking you what the hell ur doing responding dreaming. I cant wait weather in FL is perfect right now. Hopefully any week now.

Yes, I definitely know that feeling! I’ve driven DDM’s turbo and your going to love it. I went supercharger a couple years back but remember that the anticipation was killing me!!! Congratulations!

Tire size question for you quad guys... I'm looking at a set of wheels that is 20x9 fronts and 20x12 rear. I want a wider tire on the rear now etc... So say I do the quad conversion, can I just get another 20x12 wheel to match and rock that? Offsets wrong now that there is extra wheel back there? I'm just trying to avoid a buy now and regret it later decision with wheels now and what will work when I eventually add the wheel. Thanks!

Yes. You will be fine. Is your existing rear tire perfectly centered? I’m assuming with a 12” rim, your running a 345?

well I went with Trakhamer, I just like how it is laid out and looks, not saying the others are bad by ANY means just what I like. After looking at wokka and WingShot in person, I was settled on trakhamer. Mine should be in the middle of January and I can not wait till it is here.

We need to start a post for quad conversion pictures. I’d like to see them all! I’m in the same boat as you Trooper, Super excited to see it and find out how it handles now!

A quad conversion is on my list to do one day. Probably not next year, but eventually. In fact I don't know who's sling this is (pictured below), but it's been my inspiration and "end goal" when I think of where I want to get my sling to looks wise. Here is the problem... the wife and I were talking tonight and she said if I did that she'd never ride in it again. I was kinda shocked...she said it'd lose all the uniqueness of the 3 wheel, yada yada. She won't say it, but she loves all the looks we get with the sling. That night downtown Denver with a big group and parading around downtown, she felt like a prom queen. So honestly I think that's what it is for her and feels like that goes away with conversion.

So without starting a debate on 3 vs 4 wheel, as that's not my intention - curious for those of you that have the quad do you still get the same "sweet ride" looks/comments? More/Less? They are unique as hell either way in my opinion - I'm just chasing the adult go cart thing I think personally.

My wife actually said something similar in regards to the 4 wheel conversions and the sling loosing its uniqueness. I ended up showing her Rabs new set up along with Wokka’s rear exhaust and she finally caved. Thanks guys! It also cost me a new kitchen but that’s a long story😉. I got the green light to pull the trigger and am waiting patiently to put it to the test. I myself have yet to see a quad kit in person but have heard enough from reliable unbiased sources. I’ve had my sling since 2016 and it was kind of loosing that wow factor for me. Everyone is going to have their own opinions of why adding a 4th wheel is cool or ugly. Non slingshot owners say the same thing, they either love the slings or hate them. I feel like your going to get way more thumbs ups than you do now!!! Your not going to regret it! Just do it!
