In the wiring schematic there are various “splices” where a group of wires goes in and another group goes out. I’m curious as to what exactly the splice looks like? Is it like a buss with screws or connectors to hold the wires? And exactly where is the splice that’s circled located? Can a splice be replaced? Do they have an actual part number?
I’m investigating how the chassis circuit can be broken into 2 separate circuits....it seems like most of these chassis circuit hot wires go to different relays...
The wires in the splice need to be divided so another circuit can be created.
Anyone interested in helping to see if this is a doable project. The overloading issue affects 2015-16-17-18 and 19. Figuring this out will benefit everyone that’s interested in adding any type of extra electronics from upgraded radios to lights, horns...etc.
