Agree. While being compared to the Pinto is a rather hard hit, it goes on to state that Polaris reacted to the issues and are resolving them. All the while, doing it in a very public manner. Kudos for dealing with the issues.
As for the Slingshot I recognize that it has some issues and some of them might be reliability related. I've still enjoyed mine more than enough to get past them! There is nothing in this class that's similar, in the same price range, that delivers what the Slingshot does for me. Not yet anyway. Instead of ever trading up, I plan to upgrade the one I have with better components. Shocks, brakes, clutch, possibly rims and tires are just a few of the things I plan to upgrade over time.
