Ever since I put the headers and adjustable exhaust system in I have not enjoyed the ride due to the sound. This weekend I went to my local Midas Muffler shop, we did some brain storming and and came up with this. As short flex exhaust piece that is then welded in place, then a custom piece of exhaust that goes from round to rectangular. This welds into 1.25 x 3" steel tubing that runs back straight then makes a 45 decree turn to exit on the left side of the tire. At this point it transistions back to round and into a short resonator that points out back.
The sound is day and night and is no longer an irrantant. Very mellow and slightly agressive, even when wide open is selected.
