Because some have expressed interest in this feature and because I think it is a useful and needed addition I have installed an "Ignore Thread" button.
To get the tread or threads back in your view just click on this button and click the threads you want to restore.
Just pick the thread or threads you have hidden and then you can un-ignore them. Just remember to check on these threads peiodicly because you may miss something. Sometimes threads change directions and either get better or worse. But everyone has the right to speak their mind. SO here is your "I DON'T WANNA HEAR THIS" button 
P.S. I just picked this subject for a picture at random. It is up to you what you want to ignore.....
