I too have had mine on for over a year with no issues! One thing I would suggest is to keep those u band clamps (if you use them) checked and tighten every so often. I never checked mine and with the hot cold hot cold effect of the exhaust, the bolts tend to loosen. Mine started rattling until I figured out the problem. You can see some pics in my build thread

The Welter system uses a wrap around the pipe going thru the tunnel and keeps the pipe up the back away from the plastic. They have several types of rear exhaust to choose from now and they all go thru the tunnel not under your sling so you don't lose ground clearance.

Has anybody had problems with the plastic melting or getting to hot under there SS on there exhaust systems that was ran out the back. I am asking cause i would like to run me a pipe all the way to the back and put a Y and run dual tips on each side of the rear.
No issues with melting. When I did bring that up to my installer, he said that it needs to be almost touching to be an issue and that every inch the exhaust travels through the pipe it cools significantly.
